Truman Burbank played by Jim Carrey is a young insurance salesman living in the town of Seahaven where he was born and raised. Truman has been living a very average life. Such a normal life that he doesn't realize the entire country has been watching him live it since he was born and that Seahaven is actually a movie set. All of his friends and loved ones are also paid actors. With his hopes to leave Seahaven and travel to Fiji the truth begins to unfold for Truman.
