Sage from Disney’s Star Darlings
Sage (voiced by Libe Barer) is a main protagonist in Disney’s Star Darlings, and a student at Starling Academy studying to be a Wish-Granter. Sage is also a member of the Starling Academy Band, where she plays guitar. Sage is a great costume for anyone who loves glitter and the color purple, as her entire appearance is based around the shade. As with all Starlings, her skin is somewhat sparkly, so don’t skimp on the body glitter for this look.
Little My from Moominvalley
Little My is brave and has a rather bold personality. She does what she wants, and knows what to do to get what she wants. Little My does have a soft side, but most times her strong will is front and center. Little My enjoys her mischievous adventures in MoominValley.
Lilith from Supernatural
Lilith (played primarily by Katherine Boecher) is know as the first demon. She was once human until Lucifer twisted her soul in an act of spite against God. This eventually led her to become the first-ever demon and as such as has some unique traits.
Most unique of all are her completely white eyes. It is possible to achieve this look using white contacts but as any actor will tell you it is very hard to see when you have them in. Unfortunately you will have to get these from an eye care professional but as long as it is the best way to ensure you do not damage your eyes.
Lilith’s costume is otherwise very simple: she prefers white dresses that are simple but elegant with small jewel details. She also prefers delicate sandals instead of shoes. And in the series she is shown to prefer blondes when possessing adults. This means a blonde wig might be necessary but it’s also a versatile piece for other cosplay options!
Beyond the outfit, Lilith stands out from other demons in her personality. She is very cheerful and even playful – often possessing children – but she is quick to anger and just as quick to violence. There is an underlying menace to her cheerful nature that scares everyone she is around. It is as much a part of her character as her white eyes and demonic powers.
Flash Sentry from My Little Pony
Flash Sentry (voiced by Vincent Tong) is a pegasus pony from the Crystal Empire. He is still largely a mystery – at least his pony version – but fans know enough to know that he’s a favorite of none other than Princess Twilight Sparkle.
His coat is a consistent orange. This means that orange shoes, orange pants, and an orange button down are you go-to look. You can wear the button-down open over a white t-shirt for a more casual look. Just be sure not to cover up the cutie mark!
Getting Flash Sentry’s cutie mark might take a little extra work as well. You can either make you own cutie mark or order the file listed above and call local alteration shops to ask if they have an embroidery machine. Many do and can make you a patch of Flash Sentry’s cutie mark.
A blue tail, blue wig, and orange set of wings round out the look for the dashing pegasus pony!
Allison Argent
Allison Argent (Crystal Reed) is a lead character in MTV’s Teen Wolf. She is the new girl at Beacon Hills high school. The Argent family are hunters, and they train Allison as the supernatural threats grow in the town. This complicates her romantic relationship with Scott McCall. When they break up, she becomes more independent as both a hunter and a leader. Despite the loss of her mother and aunt, Allison remains levelheaded and kind. Her preferred weapon is a bow and arrow. In the third season, Allison is killed by one of the Oni. However she is remembered with reverence, for she died protecting her friends.
Vanessa Marianna-Fisk from Daredevil
Vanessa Marianna – later Vanessa Marianna-Fisk – is the lover-turned-wife of Daredevil’s antagonist, Wilson Fisk. Played by Ayelet Zurer she is the epitome of class and grace. From her position as an art dealer to her selectively minimal tastes she is a perfect match for Fisk is nearly every way though she lacks his more bloodthirsty tendencies.
Although Vanessa wears several different costumes they are all streamlined, minimalist, and well-fitted. She also wears white more and more often the longer she is with Fisk which was a deliberate choice by costuming. To that end, a white pencil dress and white heels are a good option for a Vanessa cosplay. A set of elegant gold earrings and a long gold necklace round out the accessories while her signature highlighted hair and some delicate makeup complete the look as a whole

Monica Geller from Friends
Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) is Rachel Greene‘s worldly, grounded roommate who takes the runaway bride in at the start of the Friends series. Monica’s presence on the show pushed boundaries on television, encouraging viewers to think about sensitive subjects such as obesity and what constitutes promiscuity in her day and age. Monica’s sense of style centers around comfortable blue jeans, and basic-colored camisoles, T-shirts, or blouses — to me, it is highly evocative of the nineties.
Amethyst from Steven Universe: Future
Amethyst is a main character in Steven Universe: Future voiced by Michaela Dietz. The series takes place after the events of the movie. Before, Amethyst was underestimated because she was half the size of a Quartz soldier. This judgement used to negatively affect her self esteem. But now she’s found her confidence and purpose. Fun, playful, and always with an appetite, Amethyst helps Steven run the new school for gems. Cut a hole in the tank top for the gem, and iron one star on each leg of the shorts.
Rachel Greene from Friends
Friends, among other things, shows the evolution of Rachel Karen Greene from a runaway bride with unrealistic expectations of the world to a thriving businesswoman with questionable decision-making skills — at least, in terms of her personal life. (Joey? Really?) Career-wise, the character of Rachel served as a breakout role for actress Jennifer Aniston.
Rachel’s fashion sense can be summed up in plaid, pleated miniskirts, comfy sweaters, and dresses with Mandarin collars. All the more iconic is the hairstyle she sported at various lengths throughout Friends’ ten-season run.
