In Amphibia, Anne Boonchuy (voiced by Brenda Song) is a 13 year-old Thai-American girl who stumbles on a magical chest that takes her to Amphibia, a wild marshland island full of talking frog-people and giant versions of small animals. Anne has a disheveled look, with several leaves and a stick in her hair, a stain on her shirt, and a shoeless right foot.
Lee Scoresby from His Dark Materials
In His Dark Materials, Lee Scoresby (Lin-Manuel Miranda) is a skilled aëronaut balloonist. He’s hired by the Gyptians to safely transport Lyra Belacqua to Svalbard. Lee’s dæmon is an arctic hare named Hester.
Tsumugi Shirogane
In Danganronpa, Tsumugi Shirogane is a student of the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles and the Ultimate Cosplayer. Tsumugi is quiet and dresses like a plain otaku, but has a wild imagination when it comes to anime and likes to recite quotes from her favorite ones. She also designs costumes, although she makes them for others and never for herself.
Young Michael Scott Shaking Hands from The Office
In The Office episode “The Carpet”, Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) reflects on being a friendly boss with his staff, and then reminisces about his old boss Ed Truck who was no-nonsense and no fun. The camera flashes to an old Dunder Mifflin staff newsletter photo where a young Michael Scott — mullet, fanny pack, and all — is shaking hands with Ed after receiving top sales honors.

In Danganronpa, Junko Enoshima is a popular student at Hope’s Peak Academy and the Ultimate Fashionista. Along with her school uniform, she likes to wear her strawberry blonde hair in long ponytails and has long red nails. Also, black and white bear hair clips she wears represent the two sides of Junko’s personality.
Gwart from Silicon Valley
In Silicon Valley, Gwart (Nandini Bapat) is an up and coming programmer that Jared Dunn discovers at the Hacker Hostel. Gwart is eccentric to say the least, a woman of few words who has a taste for artichoke cooked rare, leaves and all. For Gwart’s costume, you can opt for the coke bottle glasses true to her character or the more screen accurate tortoise half-rims with ultra-strong prescription.
Jeanette Miller from Alvin and the Chipmunks
In Alvin and the Chipmunks, Jeanette Miller (voiced by Janice Karman) is the second of the Chipettes, younger than Brittany and older than Eleanor. She is the absent-minded professor type of the group, gifts with extraordinary intelligence that leaves her contemplating the universe while tripping over her own feet and knocking things over. In a sense she’s most similar to Theodore, but gets along best with Simon due to their shared interests. Jeanette has brown hair and green or blue eyes, and her signature color is purple.
Jared Dunn from Silicon Valley
In Silicon Valley, Donald “Jared” Dunn (Zach Woods) jumped ship from Hooli to join Richard Hendricks at his startup Pied Piper. He’s Richard’s right-hand man, keeping everything in order, although Jared’s outbursts now and then hint at a much more chaotic and darker past. Any fleece vest will do, but go with Patagonia if you want full authenticity.
