Johnny Test
Johnny Test (voiced by James Arnold Taylor) is a mischievous, unpredictable 11-year-old boy who’s lives in the town of Porkbelly with the rest of the Test family. His super-genius older twin sisters often use Johnny as a test subject for their inventions and experiments, granting him gadgets and superpowers which he occasionally uses to save the world.
Dr. Arthur Watts from RWBY
Dr. Arthur Watts (voiced by Christopher Sabat in English) is an antagonist introduced during Volume 4 of the animated series RWBY. Dr. Watts is a disgraced former scientist who initially faked his own death before reappearing. His colleagues include Cinder Fall, the current Fall Maiden, and Tyrian Callows. Dr. Watts is middle-aged, with the greying hair to prove it. He sports a full mustache and wears a grey suit with burgundy accessories and a golden-yellow shirt. Finding an exact match for his tailcoat is tricky, so don’t be afraid to be interpretive; a plain grey suit with the right accessories will do just fine, or you could opt for a stand collar blazer instead to get a little closer to his look on the show.
Freddie Benson from iCarly
Freddie Benson (Nathan Kress) is a character in Nickelodeon’s iCarly. He is a friend of Carly and Sam, and he works as the camera operator, technical producer, and website manager of the iCarly web show. He has a crush on Carly, whereas Sam teases him, yet Sam and Freddie eventually develop an unlikely romance. In the reboot, Freddie just went through his second divorce, following a failed career at a tech start-up in Silicon Valley. Still, he remains practical and even-tempered, as he and his adopted step-daughter, Millicent, live with his overbearing mother, who continues to be a source of embarrassment.
Luke Danes from Gilmore Girls
Luke Danes (played by Scott Patterson) is the surly diner owner of Star Hollow’s favorite coffee spot on the show Gilmore Girls. Luke’s Diner is an important meeting spot for many of the show’s quirky characters, including Lorelei and Rory Gilmore, who function best with a very large cup of coffee in their hands. Eventually, Luke also becomes Lorelei’s primary love interest. Whereas many of the other characters on the show have an array of fashion options available, Luke’s look is more streamlined. Typically, he wears comfortable jeans, a flannel shirt, and a baseball cap turned backward. To really take the look to the next level, use a Luke’s Diner branded cap and be sure to bring a carafe of coffee; your Lorelei will thank you.
Darius from The Owl House
Darius Deamonne is an antagonist in The Owl House. He is the leader of the Abomination Coven, and his witchcraft involves magic spells that can create and control abominations. Although he is secretly a member of the Covens Against the Throne. He is insightful and sometimes merciful, though often rude and vainglorious. Use the gold ribbon trim on the black tank top, and use the purple fabric paint to create the dots.
Jade West from Victorious
Jade West is a character on the Nickelodeon series, Victorious. She attends Hollywood Arts to pursue a career in singing, acting, and scriptwriting. Rebellious and resilient, Jade has no problem speaking — or shouting — whatever’s on her mind, even if it’s rude. She gets annoyed easily and possesses a sadistic sense of humor. She is also obsessed with scissors. Jade particularly likes pushing Tori’s buttons, but they’re friends — for the most part. She is dating Beck Oliver, and while their relationship goes through ups and downs, they always come back to each other. Her fashion reflects her dark and edgy personality, complete with teal highlights and an eyebrow piercing. If you don’t have your eyebrow pierced, use silver liquid eyeliner to draw a dot above and below the brow for a good illusion.
Spencer Shay from iCarly
Spencer Shay (Jerry Trainor) is a character in the Nickelodeon series, iCarly. He is the older brother of Carly Shay, and a parental figure for her and her friends. Eccentric and childish, he enjoys creating art out of recycled materials. Despite his hyperactive and silly personality, Spencer is very protective of his younger sister. In the reboot, he becomes a wealthy artist following the success of a renowned sculpture.
Tyrian Callows from RWBY
Tyrian Callows (voiced by Josh Grelle in English) is an associate of Dr. Arthur Watts and a supporting antagonist in the anime series RWBY. Tyrian has gold eyes and a long braid. If your hair isn’t long enough to style in this way, you have a few options available. First, you could purchase a long brown wig and braid it yourself; otherwise, if your hair is long enough to support a braided ponytail extension, one of those will suffice instead. Tyrian is a sadistic serial killer who often bursts into unprompted bouts of maniacal laughter. His costuming includes a white open-front vest and matching pants, along with bandages on his arms, forearm guards, a chest harness, and brown boots. He disguises his scorpion tail by winding it around his waist like part of his belted harness.
Lorelei Gilmore from Gilmore Girls
Lorelei Gilmore (played by Lauren Graham) is one-half of the titular Gilmore Girls on the classic CW show. Mother to Rory, Lorelei comes from a wealthy family but has made her own way in the world after having her daughter as a teen. Lorelei’s style fluctuates throughout the series, but often tends toward the quirkier side. Some of her most iconic looks include the pink coat she often dons, and the “laundry day” look she wore to Rory’s first day at the prestigious Chilton Preparatory School. Lorelei is also rarely without a cup of coffee, especially if she has a chance to take a detour to Luke‘s Diner.
Misato Katsuragi
Misato Katsuragi is a main character in the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. She works as the Operations Director at NERV, a special organization responsible for the Evangelions and assembled to combat the Angels. She gets promoted to captain and then major. Her duties at NERV include acting as a field commander for the Eva pilots, giving orders and relaying battle tactics. Although she later learns what secrets the project is hiding. Stick to the classic bodysuit or go more casual by layering the belt and shorts on top.
