Born into a family of hunters, Joanna Harvelle (Alona Tal) was a spirited, determined young woman in the series Supernatural. Prior to her mother realizing the identities of Dean and Sam Winchester, Jo effectively held the brothers prisoner in her family's bar and repeatedly shows her abilities to hold her own against various enemies. Because her father died on a hunt, her mother is very protective of her, but ultimately can't stop Jo from pursuing the hunting that's in her blood. Similar to the Winchester brothers, Jo wears fairly basic utilitarian clothing.
