Jinwoo Sung from Solo Leveling
Jinwoo Sung is the protagonist of the web novel Solo Leveling. Jinwoo is a hunter who must battle deadly monsters to protect mankind, and eventually climbs the ranks to become the greatest hunter humanity has ever known. Jinwoo had black hair and favors dark colors. When designing your outfit, you can’t go wrong with black skinny jeans, a loose white tee, and a black hooded cardigan. A black sweater, grey cloak, and black shoes are also good options. A blue light-up sword can make for a fun prop addition to your look.
Ino Yamanaka from Naruto
Ino Yamanaka (voiced by Ryoka Yuzuki and Colleen Villard) is a character from the Naruto series. Ino is one-third of the iconic Ino-Shika-Cho formation and is a member of Team 10 under Asuma Sarutobi. She is a friend and romantic rival of Sakura Haruno. Ino has long blonde hair she wears in a ponytail and pale blue eyes. In the original series, she wears a purple uniform with white arm warmers and bandages wrapped around her upper legs. In Shippuden, her style updates to include chainmail arm and leg guards and a crop top. You can use a cosplay set for either version of Ino’s uniform, or build your own. Whatever you decide, you’ll also want to purchase shinobi sandals in either blue or black, a long blonde wig, and accessorize with a kunai pouch and kunai. If you DIY your costume, don’t be afraid to take a pair of scissors to whichever skirt you choose to make it look more like Ino’s from the series.
Doctor Fate
Doctor Fate refers to a number of heroes who have done the gold help and cape of a DC Comics staple. No matter which Doctor Fate is your fave, a few things remain the same; the hero has supernatural powers and the costume also includes a blue bodysuit with yellow gold accessories. To create your Doctor Fate, start with a blue full-body suit. Then, you’ll need a golden cape, gold gloves, and gold boots of your choosing. Finish the book with a gold utility belt. Replica Doctor Fate masks can be a bit pricey, but you can get creative with yours by using a gold hood beneath a polarized face shield or a plastic full-face mask instead.
Poison Ivy from The New Batman Adventures
Poison Ivy is an antagonist in The New Batman Adventures. Aside from being a botanist and biochemist, she is a supervillain who terrorizes Gotham with her supernatural control over plant life. Though in other media, Poison Ivy may be an anti heroine. In the animated series, she is often seen scheming with Harley Quinn to take down Batman. He is the first potential love interest of Anzu Hoshino after a wizard forces her to pursue romance. Tsukasa, though, while popular with girls at his school, tends to avoid dating. Tsukasa has orange hair and is typically shown in his school uniform, including a polo shirt and blue plaid trousers. He also wears a black watch on his left wrist and a pair of white and blue sneakers.
Momiji Sohma from Fruits Basket
Momiji (voiced in Japanese by Megumi Han and in English by Mikaela Krantz) is one of the secondary main characters in the anime/manga Fruits Basket.
He is the rabbit out of the Sohma family zodiacs, and is often mistaken for being much younger than he is, despite being only a year younger than Tohru. Momiji is usually seen as a very cheerful person, but he, like a lot of the other Sohmas, has a rough family history.
He has short, fluffy blonde hair, golden brown eyes, and wears small stud earrings as an accessory. Momiji is also usually seen in the school uniform, but he chooses to wear the girl’s shirt portion, and a pair of black shorts, instead of the boy’s. He also wears a pair of white knee high socks, and light brown loafers.
Beam from Chainsaw Man
Beam is a character in the best selling manga and hit anime, Chainsaw Man. Illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the series was serialized in Shonen Jump for two years with new chapters bi-weekly. Chainsaw Man takes place in a world where devils are born from fears. Like Power, Beam is a fiend, specifically the Shark Fiend. Energetic yet naive, Beam is unwaveringly loyal to Denji/Chainsaw Man. He goes along with Denji’s plans and will do anything to protect him. Talk about an amazing friend! He usually is depicted without a shirt, but this guide includes a fitting shark pattern button down.
Kakihara from Ichi the Killer
Kakihara (played by Tadanobu Asano) is the sadistic yakuza enforcer who meets his match in Ichi the Killer. Kakihara has distinctive scars on his face, which you’ll need molding wax to replicate. He wears a couple of outlandish outfits throughout the film, though the embellished shirt and iridescent pants he wears in his final showdown with Ichi is certainly one of the most striking. To recreate his costume, you may need to be a little flexible, as finding a holographic purple suit and sequin-embellished dress shirt can be difficult. A rose-gold button-down with a shimmery gold floral pattern will fill in nicely, and you can either choose to focus on the colors of Kakihara’s suit or the holographic quality, depending on your preference.
