The Fairy Godmother is a character in the Disney animated film, Cinderella. She takes the form of a benevolent older lady. She appears to Cinderella after the evil stepsisters rip apart her dress. Upon hearing she can't attend the ball, the Fairy Godmother works her magic. With a wave of her wand and the phrase "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo," she transforms a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into horses, and the rags into a beautiful ballgown. However she warns Cinderella that the magic will wear off at midnight.
