In Kung Fu Hustle, in a town full of crooks and thugs, the toughest person on the block is the middle-aged, chain-smoking Landlady (Yuen Qiu) of Pig Sty Alley. The landlady rules the slum with an iron fist, and all feel her wrath from her husband to the residents to encroaching members of the Axe Gang. Her powerful weapons include her Lion's Roar technique, ability to run like the Roadrunner, and red slippers.
