Moira O'Hara is a character in American Horror Story. She appears in the first season, Murder House, as one of the many ghosts doomed to live in the house forever. The cause of her death was getting shot in the eye by Constance Langdon, who caught her husband making advances on her. To women, she appears as her "true self" -- a pleasant elderly lady with a gray left eye. To men, she appears as a young seductress. In her words, this is because women see things for as they are whereas men see only what they desire. She befriends Vivian and tries to help during her pregnancy, but she preys on Ben's adulterous desires.
