Space Jam: A New Legacy
In 1996 Space Jam awed kids all over. Even kids who didn’t watch basketball begged to see it because of Michael Jordan and all the Looney Tunes. A new generation of kids gets to experience the same enchantment with Space Jam: A New Legacy. This time they’re treated to LeBron James as he tries to rescue his son from a wayward AI. And, with the help of the Looney Tunes, he knows he can.
Unlike most of the players in Space Jam, you can choose your team. If you’re feeling a little more mischievous than usual you can join the Goon Squad with purple shorts and a custom jersey. A full Toon Squad set lands you with Bugs and the gang. And a face painting kit can help you get the look of your favorite character. You might want to get Bugs’ look or maybe you want to go with Chronos’ style and get in sync with time.

Emily Dickinson from Dickinson
Emily Dickinson’s life is the stuff of literary class lessons and book foreword fodder. But in the hands of Alena Smith and Hailee Steinfeld, Dickinson’s life takes on new glamour, pain, and style. The new approach brings Dickinson to life in a way few class syllabi could hope to. And it does it with a style all its own.
Given the show’s unique style, there are a range of looks to choose from. To get the look featured here, however, you’ll need to start with a red ballgown. After that, match red lipstick and flats to the gown, then style a brunette wig into the loose strands and updo Dickinson wears. Round out the look with a stunning leather journal for writing down all of your own brilliant ideas!
Melina Vostokoff from Black Widow
Mother figure or Red Room mentor, it can be hard to tell where Melina Vostokoff’s loyalties lie until the very end. Played by the enchanting Rachel Weisz, it’s hard not to like her even when you’re not sure if she has Natasha’s best interests at heart. It all works out in the end, of course. Widows, after all, have to stick together.
For Melina’s look you want to start with a long brown wig that can be braided using tutorials from YouTube. A costume rifle also gives you her weapon of choice. If you want to go with her widow look, you’ll want a white Widow Suit. For her home look, a black canvas jacket, black cargo pants, black boots, and a dark blue long sleeve shirt are great options that can also transition into other cosplays. The pet pig is, of course, optional.
Daphne Bridgerton from Bridgerton
Prim and proper, Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor) has spent her life preparing for her debut. Daphne’s gowns are all handcrafted for her taste and style. You can get close, however, with a simple white empire-waist gown and a matching hair ribbon. Rhinestone studded slippers, white gloves, and a ‘diamond’ bracelet make for lovely accessories while YouTube tutorials can help you style a strawberry blonde wig into a look suitable for the ton.
Gawain from The Green Knight
Gawain and the Green Knight is a classic Arthurian tale. And like Arthur himself, the knights have been gaining new audiences as their tales are once again retold. Written for the screen by David Lowery and starring the incredible Dev Patel, the movie is billed as a fantasy retelling of an already fantastical tale. And one can only hope Gawain fares is well in the adaptation as in the original, green sash and all.
Gawain has a yellow cloak that can be reproduced with golden fabric, or a white capelet and Rit dye. Because this movie is stylized and not aimed at perfect historical accuracy, a set of fold-top leather boots (which are great in other cosplays) are also perfect for the costume, as well as a pair of black pants, a chain mail shirt, and a black tunic. A sword and scabbard can be slid into a a medieval belt and you’re ready for your own Arthurian adventure.
