Cap'n Crunch

Cap’n Crunch

Captain Crunch, often shorted to Cap’n Crunch, is a cereal mascot. He is a naval officer with a blue uniform, white mustache, and bicorn hat. Carry a cereal bowl or box of Cap’n Crunch as optional props.

vicky fop character

Vicky from The Fairly OddParents

“Go to bed, twerp!” Vicky is an antagonist in Nickelodeon’s Fairly Odd Parents. Ruthless and sadistic, she is Timmy Turner’s evil babysitter. To get revenge for her constant torture, Timmy relies on his fairy god parents, Cosmo and Wanda. She appears in most all the movie specials as his main rival. Chip Skylark writes a song about her, titled “Icky Vicky.” While the song describes her as “a fire breathing dragon in a pair of black jeans,” you can replace the jeans with black leggings. You can crop the t-shirt and wear pink contacts for added accuracy.

Lucius Malfoy Character

Lucius Malfoy

Lucius Malfoy is an antagonist in Harry Potter. He is the husband of Narcissa Malfoy and the father of Harry’s enemy, Draco Malfoy. Bellatrix Lestrange is his sister-in-law. Lucius and his wife belong to the Death Eaters, aka the most adamant followers of Lord Voldemort. Because of his wealth and status, he takes great pride in his aristocratic status. Like Draco, he looks down upon half bloods and Muggle born wizards, for he thinks pureblood wizards are inherently superior. Lucius has a particular disdain for the Weasley family, as well as Harry Potter himself. Jason Isaacs plays this role in the film adaptation.

Hera from Xena

Hera from Xena: Warrior Princess

Hera (portrayed by Meg Foster) is one of the primary antagonists in both Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. Despite being the goddess of marriage she is unfortunately wed to the chronically unfaithful Zeus. Her anger with him leads her to attack his children by other women while exerting her influence over other areas of mortal life.

Dressing as Hera is fairly straightforward. She wears a lot of black while adopting iridescent tones in blues and greens because peacocks are sacred to Hera in both the shows and the original Greek myths. A full and shimmering black skirt, black heels, black cloak, and black corset make up the basis for her look. You will need to add the iridescent crystals by hand, unfortunately, since they are so placed in such a unique pattern. But once they’re on you can add in a feathered collar and shrug in either black or peacock colors and top with either of the tiaras that resemble the crowns she wears as Queen of Olympus.

Pirate Jenny from HBO’s Watchmen

Pirate Jenny (Jessica Camacho) from the HBO series Watchmen is an anarchist at heart. She has joined The Watchmen to fight for justice by any means necessary. Her style is part functionality and part intimidation factor. A decent amount of crafting will need to go into the headpiece and mask. Luckily it is more ripping and tearing than sewing work. The bleached tee could be cut around the collar and stretched as desired. The fishnet hair net will need to go over your head and can be ripped liberally over the eyes. She has a dark smokey eye shadow peeking through the eye holes in her mask. The key to making this look work is expressing its been worn in. Use a close-up image of her face when making your mask so you can follow all the layers of fishnet and mesh it includes. May need some easy hand sewing for the thin layer of white mesh over her nose and mouth.
