Joe Goldberg from You
Joe Goldberg is a character from the Netflix series You, and is played by Penn Badgley. You follows Joe, who works in a bookstore and frequently has crushes throughout the seasons that he will go killer lengths for to be with them. Joe makes for a great and recognizable costume duo with one of his love interests and a fan favorite character named Love. Joe has a signature look he has throughout the season, specifically when he is stalking and trying not to be seen. When he does this, he wears his ionic denim baseball cap along with a denim jacket and other layers. Add a backpack to complete the look or a front-facing baby carrier for a season three duo costume with Love.
Princess Venus from Sailor Moon
Like the others, Venus wears her hair pretty much in the same way as she does in her other forms, with the Venus symbol being the one major difference, as it appears on her forehead in gold.
She has a long bowed golden ribbon worn around her neck and a matching golden teardrop necklace. Her dress is a golden split toned sleeveless dress with ribboned straps, a high waisted top, and lighter toned multilayered ruffled pieces over a golden inner layer.
Sayaka Miki from Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Sayaka (voiced in Japanese by Eri Kitamura and in English by Sarah Williams) is one of the major characters in the anime/manga Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
She was one of the first ones out of the group (in the timeline we first see) to awaken her magical girl form through the wish she made to heal the boy she had feelings for, but once she found the feelings weren’t reciprocated, she started to spiral. She thankfully was able to connect with Kyoko after that.
Like Kyoko, Sayaka has a monochromatic color scheme when it comes to her hair and eyes, with both being about the same shade of blue. Her magical girl outfit is much the same, with a hard shelled blue bodice piece, a white corset-styled button up white midpiece, a layered up blue and white offcenter skirt, and detached sleeves with white gloves. She also wears a white and gold capelet, long white and blue socks, and teal short high heeled boots.
Buford Van Stomm from Phineas and Ferb
Buford Van Stomm (voiced by Bobby Gaylor) is a character from the cartoon series Phineas and Ferb. A bully, Buford often joins the titular pair on their adventures. Buford is a stocky boy with short brown hair. He typically wears green shorts, reddish hiking boots, and a black t-shirt with a skull graphic on it. You can use an eyeliner pencil to draw his freckles and temporary tooth needs to create his protruding lower tooth.
Ventus from Kingdom Hearts
Ventus (voiced in Japanese by Kōki Uchiyama and in English by Jesse McCartney) is one of the main characters in Birth by Sleep, and a prominent character in a large amount of the other titles in the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise.
He is one of the characters that actually has their origins even earlier in the timeline, coming from the time of the KHUX characters instead of just BBS like we originally thought. He is also part of the trio of wielders that trained under Master Eraqus, and is the body that Vanitas was pulled from.
Ven has spiked up blonde hair, similar in style to Roxas, and vibrant blue eyes. He wears a multilayered outfit, with a black sleeveless turtleneck, a striped undervest, a split monochromatic cropped short sleeve jacket worn with a black x strap clasped by a silver version of the wielder emblem, a metallic armor patch on his shoulder that forms into the keyblade armor, and an inverted version of Roxas’ wristband. He also has segmented gold and blue waist armor over top of multitoned cuffed capri pants, and armored shoes.
Boun from Raya and the Last Dragon
Boun (voiced by Izaac Wang) is a supporting character in the Disney film Raya and the Last Dragon. Boun owns a restaurant called Shrimporium, which is located on a boat. He helps guide Raya and Sisu as they attempt to restore the Dragon Gem. Boun has messy brown hair and wears loose fitting pants, a brown top, and brown shoes that curl at the ends of the toes. He also dons a gold band around his left bicep.
Squigly (Sienna Contiello) from Skullgirls
Squigly (voiced in Japanese by Miyuki Sawashiro and in English by Lauren Landa) is one of the DLC characters in the fighting game, Skullgirls.
While her life as Sienna is covered through the backstory part of her story mode, she’s seen in the rest of the game modes as her undead form, Squigly. Like Filia, she is connected to a parasite, hers being named Leviathan, and he is the being that is keeping her in a ‘living’ form. Her fighting style closely incorporates Leviathan, and also uses song in attacks.
Squigly has light blue skin and dark blue hair worn in two pigtails in red ties (I didn’t include materials for Leviathan, but may try to make a tutorial later), a stitched shut mouth, and intense red eyes. She wears a low cut dark magenta shirt with scooped sides, a giant cartoony skull over her chest, red and white striped disconnected sleeves with a starry flared base over her hands (one of which is skeletal), her skirt is tight and dark blue, with the same sort of flare at the end, with cutouts circling the base, a pair of red and white striped stockings, and it’s finished off with a tall black collar with a white x at the front.
Angel Disguise Crowley from Good Omens 2
Crowley is a main character in Good Omens. In the second season, he travels up to Heaven via elevator. Accompanied by the Muriel, he disguises himself as an angel by swapping his black outfit for silver and gold tones. You may also recognize his actor, David Tennant, as the Tenth Doctor. Use the gold eyeliner to draw the snake tattoo next to his ear.
Pannacotta Fugo
Pannacotta Fugo is a character in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He also stars in the spinoff light novel, Purple Haze Feedback. His two closest friends are Narancia and Guido. He is a member of Passione and aids in the mission to protect Trish Una. Fugo is very calculated, but his rage knows no bounds. His Stand, Purple Haze, is an embodiment of his hot temper, and is insanely deadly with its killer virus infection.
Victoria Page from The Red Shoes
Victoria Page is a character from the 1948 classic film The Red Shoes, and is played by Moira Shearer. The story comes from a folktale and published by Hans Christian Andersen. The film follows Victoria who is an aspiring ballerina who is faced with the choice of choosing between dance and the man she loves.
In the iconic ballet performance scene, she wears bright red ballet shoes that tie up with ribbon, white tights, a blush or cream long tulle skirt, a leotard with appliqués and a blue bow in her hair. If you enjoy sewing and want to add the blue details to her top, sew or attach a blue ruffle/pleated trim along the edge that matches her hair bow.
