Henry Sugar from The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar
Henry Sugar is a character from the new short film by Wes Anderson: The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, and is played by Benedict Cumberbatch. Wes Anderson has released a series of four short films on Netflix that are based on the stories of Roald Dahl. This film follows Henry Sugar, a rich man who attempts to have the ability to see with his eyes closed, so that he can use the skill in gambling.
Henry Sugar wears a variety of costumes in this film, but one that stands out are his bright red pajamas with white piping detail, as seen on the cover. Another he wears is a light all cream, white, and gray costume. This costume consists of a gray blazer, cream sweater, light gray tie, and a white button down shirt.
Spot from Across the Spider-Verse
Spot (voiced by Jason Schwartzman) is the primary antagonist of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Once a scientist at Alchemax named Dr. Johnathan Ohnn, Spot’s mutated appearance is the result of Spider-Man destroying Kingpin‘s Super-Collider in the first film of the series. Spot begins as a comedic villain, but eventually, his determination to destroy Miles’ life turns him into something much more sinister. To recreate Spot’s villainous appearance, you’ll need to start with a full white bodysuit and matching shoes. Then, add splotches of black to the costume using fabric paint. You can paint them on with brushes and/or add them with a dimensional paint using the plastic tip, depending on your preference. Make sure you leave plenty of time for the paint to dry before you intend to wear your costume.
Murray from White Noise
Murray is a character from the film White Noise by Noah Baumbach, and is played by Don Cheadle. The film is based on the original 1985 novel by Don DeLillo. This story follows college professor Jack Gladney and his family as they’re faced with “The Airborne Toxic Event.” They’re forced to evacuate their home and ultimately face their fear of death throughout the film and we see how each of them cope with this in their own ways. Murray is professor at the same college that Jack works at. He is very passionate about his studies and enjoys discussing them with Jack. He seems to be very clear-headed in times of trouble and stands strong in what he believes in, and offers advice and new perspectives to Jack because of this.
Murray’s costumes consist of plenty of tweed pieces like blazers, vests, and dress pants. He wears this when working at the college and mixes colors and prints when it comes to shirts and ties for pops of color. When we see him in the grocery store outside of work, he has a very fun costume moment where he wears a loud, colorful 80s teal and blue windbreaker over his work clothes.
Joe Goldberg from You
Joe Goldberg is a character from the Netflix series You, and is played by Penn Badgley. You follows Joe, who works in a bookstore and frequently has crushes throughout the seasons that he will go killer lengths for to be with them. Joe makes for a great and recognizable costume duo with one of his love interests and a fan favorite character named Love. Joe has a signature look he has throughout the season, specifically when he is stalking and trying not to be seen. When he does this, he wears his ionic denim baseball cap along with a denim jacket and other layers. Add a backpack to complete the look or a front-facing baby carrier for a season three duo costume with Love.
Buford Van Stomm from Phineas and Ferb
Buford Van Stomm (voiced by Bobby Gaylor) is a character from the cartoon series Phineas and Ferb. A bully, Buford often joins the titular pair on their adventures. Buford is a stocky boy with short brown hair. He typically wears green shorts, reddish hiking boots, and a black t-shirt with a skull graphic on it. You can use an eyeliner pencil to draw his freckles and temporary tooth needs to create his protruding lower tooth.
Ventus from Kingdom Hearts
Ventus (voiced in Japanese by Kōki Uchiyama and in English by Jesse McCartney) is one of the main characters in Birth by Sleep, and a prominent character in a large amount of the other titles in the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise.
He is one of the characters that actually has their origins even earlier in the timeline, coming from the time of the KHUX characters instead of just BBS like we originally thought. He is also part of the trio of wielders that trained under Master Eraqus, and is the body that Vanitas was pulled from.
Ven has spiked up blonde hair, similar in style to Roxas, and vibrant blue eyes. He wears a multilayered outfit, with a black sleeveless turtleneck, a striped undervest, a split monochromatic cropped short sleeve jacket worn with a black x strap clasped by a silver version of the wielder emblem, a metallic armor patch on his shoulder that forms into the keyblade armor, and an inverted version of Roxas’ wristband. He also has segmented gold and blue waist armor over top of multitoned cuffed capri pants, and armored shoes.
Boun from Raya and the Last Dragon
Boun (voiced by Izaac Wang) is a supporting character in the Disney film Raya and the Last Dragon. Boun owns a restaurant called Shrimporium, which is located on a boat. He helps guide Raya and Sisu as they attempt to restore the Dragon Gem. Boun has messy brown hair and wears loose fitting pants, a brown top, and brown shoes that curl at the ends of the toes. He also dons a gold band around his left bicep.
Angel Disguise Crowley from Good Omens 2
Crowley is a main character in Good Omens. In the second season, he travels up to Heaven via elevator. Accompanied by the Muriel, he disguises himself as an angel by swapping his black outfit for silver and gold tones. You may also recognize his actor, David Tennant, as the Tenth Doctor. Use the gold eyeliner to draw the snake tattoo next to his ear.
Pannacotta Fugo
Pannacotta Fugo is a character in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He also stars in the spinoff light novel, Purple Haze Feedback. His two closest friends are Narancia and Guido. He is a member of Passione and aids in the mission to protect Trish Una. Fugo is very calculated, but his rage knows no bounds. His Stand, Purple Haze, is an embodiment of his hot temper, and is insanely deadly with its killer virus infection.
Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist
Envy (voiced in Japanese by Mayumi Yamaguchi [2003] and Minami Takayama [2009], and in English by Wendy Powell) is one of the major antagonists in the Fullmetal Alchemist series.
He (dependent on form) is one of the sin-named Homunculi in the series, is usually seen as a trio with Lust and Gluttony, and takes a large amount of delight in tormenting Ed. Envy is a shape-shifter and is able to take on the appearance of any character, down to vocal mimicry, even if the person exists or not. Envy’s other two main (true) forms are akin to a large green dragon and a small green leech-like creature.
Depending on the series (03 vs Brotherhood) Envy has prominently green hair or green-tinted black hair (I went with a dark green to hit the middle), and purple eyes. His outfit consists of a cropped, sleeveless black top, black shorts with a skirt-like piece over top of it, black sleeveless gloves and matching black spats. Finish off the look with the Ouroboros tattoo on your leg, the homunculi markings are already on the back of the shirt piece so you won’t have to worry about that.
