Tyler from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

Tyler (portrayed by C. Thomas Howell) is a friend of Elliott‘s older brother Mike in Stephen Spielberg’s 1980s classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.  Tyler is at first a bit dismissive of E.T. and Elliott, but eventually helps them both escape authorities so E.T. can go home.  Tyler has wavy brown hair and wears light-wash jeans, a red t-shirt, black and white shoes, and a grey bomber jacket during the bicycle chase portion of the film.

Koala Man

Karl Havoc from I Think You Should Leave

This costume is from I Think You Should Leave, a sketch comedy show created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin. Its third season recently debuted on Netflix. The concept of this sketch takes place behind the scenes of Everything Is Upside Down, a hidden camera prank show. The host, Carmine Laguzio, plans to wear a disguise (named Karl Havoc) to cause chaos at the mall. The heavy prosthetics become too uncomfortable, making the host to go from energetic to irritated to downright miserable.

Cowboy Ken from Barbie (2023)

Cowboy Ken is a supporting character in the hit 2023 movie Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig. He is one of the many Kens in Barbie Land. His partner Barbie is Physicist Barbie. Roy Mustang

Roy Mustang is a character from the anime Fullmetal Alchemist. He is a State Alchemist and colonel in the military, making him the superior officer of protagonist Edward Elric. A known war hero, Colonel Mustang is remarkable in his command capabilities with plans to become leader. This costume guide offers both a DIY and ready-made option. Use the gold rope on the shoulder and affix the pin on front. Then line the jacket and wrist cuffs with the silver ribbon trim. A no-sew option could be metallic silver fabric paint, and using painter’s tape to achieve the straight lines. Steve Randle is a character in The Outsiders. He is a Greaser who likes to comb his hair in swirls. His specialty is cars, so he works at the gas station with his best friend, Sodapop. Although unlike the naturally easygoing Sodapop, he is cocky and blunt. While Steve can come off as rude, he cares about his friends and fellow greasers. Tom Cruise portrays Steve in the 1983 movie adaptation.

Petey Piranha from Super Mario

Petey Piranha (voiced by Toru Minegishi in his original appearance) is a boss from the Super Mario Bros. video game franchise.  Originally appearing in Super Mario Sunshine, Petey is a carnivorous plant who is set apart from the other piranha plants in the games by his sheer size and additional abilities.  He is a frequent nemesis of Mario and Luigi.  To recreate this funky plant costume, you’ll want to start with a green full-coverage bodysuit.  Then, don a pair of a pair of polka-dot briefs and a piranha plant mask.  For an extra touch, consider adding a floral headband to your costume to finish the look.

Sadao Maou from The Devil is a Part-Timer!

Sadao Maou (voiced by Ryota Osaka in Japanese and Josh Grelle in English) is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series The Devil is a Part-Timer!  Satan Jacob is the Devil King before he is forced to retreat to Earth where he dons the more human appearance of Sadao Maou.  Sadao works at MgRonald’s as a part-time employee.  There are cosplay sets of Sadao’s work uniform which you can purchase and pair with shoes, a cape, shoulder armor, and a dark green wig to complete the look.  If you’re particularly brave, you might also like to use a pair of red contact lenses to alter the color of your eyes.  If you’d rather make your own costume, a red polo, red visor, and black pants will get the job done.  You can use yellow fabric paint to add the signature MgRonald’s stripe across the front of the shirt.

Ferid Bathory from Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End

Ferid (voiced in Japanese by Takahiro Sakurai and in English by Eric Vale) is one of the main vampire antagonists in the anime/manga Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End.

He kicked off a good majority of the plot by murdering the rest of the children that Yu and Mika considered family, sending Yu on a revenge quest. He loves to annoy the people he spends time with, much to Krul‘s frustration.

Ferid has long lavender-grey hair that he wears tied back with a large black bow, red eyes, vampire fangs, and pointed ears. He wears a waist-length white shirt with diamond detailing and ruffled cuffs, that trails off into longer coattails, with a ribboned capelet over top and a cravat. The rest of his outfit is white pants, extremely tall thigh high black boots, and white gloves.
