Men

Muriel from The Arcana: A Mystic Romance – Love Story

Muriel is a mysterious man and one of the six possible love interests in The Arcana: A Mystic Romance – Love Story.  When the Apprentice first meets Muriel, it is impossible to remember him due to a curse, until he provides them with a magical sachet that includes myrrh.  Muriel is a former fighter who is now peaceful and a friend of Asra.  Muriel’s costume includes a bare chest littered with scars and covered by various belts.  Muriel wears a dark traveling cloak with a hood, and several fur pelts as well as studded arm bands and collar.  The Apprentice also gifts him a dark green scarf.

Alexander of Brennenburg from Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Alexander, voiced by Sam Mowry, is the second of two main characters in the horror game Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

He is the baron of Brennenburg Castle in Prussia, and has a long standing tie-in and interest into the occult and scientific experimentation. Alexander, knowing of the orb that Daniel has been searching around for information on, invites him to Prussia to speak with him about it, setting off the chain of events that take place in Amnesia.

We do not have a full body portrait of Alexander, but the fandom generally came to a consensus on what the rest of his outfit looks like, so most portrayals of him have him with long, thin white hair, one gold and one blue eye, a white long shirt with a cravat, a white vest with gold border detailing, a red nobleman’s jacket with gold detailing and a gold A, a black belt, black pants, and black boots.

Max Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place

Max Russo (Jake T. Austin) is a character on Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place. He is the youngest child of Jerry and Theresa Russo and the brother of Justin and Alex Russo. He works as a server at the family sub shop. He is very mischievous and likes playing pranks on others. Witty and fun-loving, Max sometimes uses magic irresponsibly, but he can cause havoc without it. He is the only Russo sibling to become mortal as a result of the Wizard competition, but he receives ownership of the sub shop as compensation, which seems fine by him.

Maxwell Carter from Don’t Starve

Maxwell is one of the main antagonists turned playable characters from the video game, Don’t Starve/Don’t Starve Together.

Maxwell is the reason that a good majority of the events of the series came to pass, setting off the connection with the world of the Constant by dabbling too heavily in dark magic and letting it get out of hand.

He started off as a meek stage magician, getting shows where he could, until he moved to California to escape his debt, changed his name from William to Maxwell, shoved his way into the spotlight, and got an assistant named Charlie to help him perform grander and grander shows (until he got too involved and doomed them both).

Maxwell has short black hair, a white button-up shirt, a black tie, a dark pinstriped suit set with pointed shoulder pieces, a black vest worn underneath, black oxfords, sharp gloved hands, and a rose in his lapel to symbolize his connection to Charlie.

Daniel of Mayfair from Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Daniel, voiced by Richard Topping, is the main character of the horror video game Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
He goes to Prussia to speak with the baron of Brennenburg castle, Alexander, in order to get some advice on an odd orb he found while on an archaeology dig, and ends up getting wrapped up in horrific events that ultimately bring out his own evil nature.

The game starts with Daniel, having freshly given himself amnesia by way of a potion to forget what he had done, reading a letter from his past self that tells him to hunt down Alexander as a way to reclaim who he was.

The only full picture reference we have of Daniel is this concept sketch, so he’s a little tricky to get an accurate color read on, but from what we can tell he has nearly shoulder length brown hair, a white button up shirt, a light green vest, a brown overcoat with gold embroidery details, a brown belt with a gold buckle, brown pants, and black boots.

Amane Yugi (Hanako-kun)

Amane Yugi from Toilet Bound Hanako-kun

Amane Yugi (also referred to in-series as Hanako) is the titular character in the anime/manga Toilet Bound Hanako-kun, voiced in Japanese by Ogata Megumi, and by Justin Briner in English. He is a physically 13-year-old ghost bound to the bathroom in Kamome Academy High School, tied there for over 50 years attached to the Japanese urban legend Hanako-San, and is the leader in charge of keeping the other holders of the school’s legends in line. He is close friends with Nene Yashiro and Kou Minamoto, but seems to fear his twin brother, Tsukasa Yugi, due to their past. Amane has golden-orange eyes, short and choppy black hair, a white and red seal affixed to his face, and his outfit consists of the Kamome Academy uniform from the 1960’s, with an overlaying cloak and a matching hat, with a kitchen knife he carries with him as a weapon.

Derek Cho from “Mayhem”

Derek Cho (Steven Yeun) is the main character in Mayhem, a movie that blends horror, comedy, action, and commentary on corporate evil. He informs the audience about the ID-7 “Red Eye” virus, which removes all inhibition and moral integrity. In his role as a lawyer at Towers and Smythe Consulting, he found a loophole that won the case of an infected murderer. As he climbed the corporate rankings, Derek began to lose his sympathy, such as turning down Melanie’s plea for loan assistance. But then when a coworker betrays him, he sees the company’s true colors. Refusing to take the blame, Derek gets escorted out by security, where he meets Melanie. Together they work to take down the top bosses through very bloody means.

david from bodies bodies bodies

David from Bodies Bodies Bodies

David (played by Pete Davidson) is the host of a hurricane party in the A24 horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies.  David brings together some of his closest friends, including Sophie and Alice, and their significant others to weather the storm.  He’s combative from the start, especially with his girlfriend Emma and Alice’s boy toy Alex.  Once the group begins to play a murder mystery game, the night quickly turns deadly.  David’s death kicks off the whodunnit plot, so don’t be afraid to get creative with a little scar wax and plenty of fake blood to recreate his bloody slit throat demise.
