Asra Alnazar from The Arcana: A Mystic Romance – Love Story
Asra Alnazar is a powerful magician from the mobile game The Arcana: A Mystic Romance – Love Story. Asra is very fond of the Apprentice, as well as being one of their six potential romantic partners. Asra is also friends with Muriel, as they both grew up together as orphans on the Docks, and a colleague of Julian Devorak, as they worked together to find a cure for the Red Plague. Asra has white hair and wears a shirt open at the chest. While traveling, he dons a patterned sleeveless coat as well as a black wide-brimmed hat with a brightly colored feather. If you can’t find a single feather to fit the bill, consider layering several colorful feathers together.
Mulbruk from La-Mulana 2
Mulbruk is an ancient who remained dormant within the ruins of La-Mulana before they were destroyed and she was awakened. In La-Mulana 2, Mulbruk has undergone a modern makeover. Though she still often falls asleep when her mind wanders, she has traded in her traditional robes for striped socks, boots, and a purple tank top. Her hair is wrapped in golden thread with a large purple bow tied on top. If you don’t want to commit to holding a cold cheeseburger all night, a chew toy can make for a more convenient prop.
Cole MacGrath from inFAMOUS
Cole MacGrath (voiced by Jason Cottle) is the main character of inFamous. Whether he is the hero or the villain depends on the player. Either way, he’s got a journey ahead of him that changes not only his world but the world around him.
Cole dresses like a man who knows he has an adventure coming up in his life. Green cargo pants and thigh pouches work with hiking shoes to make sure he’s ready for just about anything coming at him. Add in fingerless gloves, a two-tone jacket, and a cross-body bad and your cosplay is ready to go.
Make Your Own: American McGee’s Alice

Corvo Attano from Dishonored
Corvo Attano is the main protagonist of the the first Dishonored video game. As the secret lover and protector of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin, Corvo is framed for her murder and imprisoned before escaping and seeking vengeance. Corvo wears a long frock coat with gold details, dark trousers, and brown boots. His unique mask not only conceals his identity, but provides a telescopic eye that allows him a closer view of people and important items in the game.
Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2
Chuck Greene (voiced by Peter Flemming) is a former motocross champion, a widower, and a father that will do whatever it takes to protect his daughter. Sometimes that involves fighting off the undead. Sometimes it involves things a little crazier. Chuck has the skills to handle it, though. And for as long as he can, he’s going to keep his daughter safe.
Chuck Greene is a great cosplay for those who want to be comfortable. He wears black boots, blue jeans, and a motocross jacket in yellow and black. His weapon of choice is the Paddlesaw (when he can’t ride a Slicecycle) but those aren’t exactly easy to make. A kayak paddle is a good start to one, though!
Nick Ramos from Dead Rising 3
With no memory of his past and few clues to go on, Nick (voiced by Andrew Lawrence) is one of the youngest and the most mysterious protagonists in the Dead Rising series. He also makes for a great cosplay with the exception of his weapon, the sledge saw, which takes a build all its own to replicate.
Sledge saw aside, a Nick Ramos cosplay is great for people who want something with reusable pieces. A set of coveralls with the sleeves torn off, workboots, and a patch is all you really need for the clothing. A tattoo pen lets you copy the “12” tattoo on his neck, finishing off the whole look.
Morshu from Link: The Faces of Evil
Morshu is a merchant who sells lamp oil, rope, and bombs to Link in The Faces of Evil video game from the Zelda series on the Philips CD-i system. Morshu is a shrewd businessman and will not sell goods to Link if he does not have enough rubies. Morshu wears green pants, a matching hat, and an orange shirt with a brown and yellow vest over top.
Alex Mercer from Prototype
Alex Mercer (voiced by Barry Pepper in Prototype and Darryl Kurylo in Prototype 2) was once a scientist. Right up until the day the people in his project started dying one by one. He tried to stay out of the fight but when he had no other choice he exposed himself the Blacklight Virus. The resulting mutations made him into something his enemies could never have seen coming.
Mercer can shapeshift which makes a full-range cosplay a little difficult unless you’re good at casting molds and don’t mind carrying around different accessories. Luckily Mercer has an iconic look even without his mutation. And that looks makes for an excellent cosplay!
The most important part of Mercer’s costume is his leather jacket. Under that you’ll need a brown zip-up hoody and a white button-down shirt. A pair of jeans and black shoes finish off his look. This look is great for closet cosplay and almost all of the pieces transition easily into other costumes. Like I said – an excellent cosplay!
Vergil from Devil May Cry 3
Vergil is a character in the Devil May Cry video game franchise. He is the son of the demon Sparda and human Eva, as well as the older twin brother of Dante. In contrast to his brother, Vergil rejects his humanity in favor of his demonic heritage. He is an apathetic and reserved individual, but his ambition gets the best of him, as he will do anything to usurp the power of his father. This leads him down a dark path, hence his role as the main antagonist of the fifth installment. This outfit in particular is from the third installment.
