Agent Valentina Fontaine

Agent Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, also known as Contessa Fontaine, is an antagonist in the MCU. She is the Director of the CIA who seems to be assembling her own team, currently consisting of John Walker – formerly the new Captain America, now US Agent – and Yelena Belova. Her ex-husband is Everett Ross. When he opposed the US obtaining vibranium from Wakanda, she had him arrested for committing treason. Portrayed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, she appears in smaller roles for Black Widow, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. She will make a full debut in Thunderbolts.  A black trenchcoat and leather gloves give her sleek style a classic villainous edge.

Bucky Barnes from Falcon and the Winter Soldier

This year’s Super Bowl had a lot of impressive moments. But for Marvel fans the most impressive moment was the teaser trailer for Disney+’s new line-up of shows starring familiar MCU actors. One of those actors, Sebastian Stan, is once again taking up the role of fan favorite James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes (Winter Soldier). Though photos from the show are few and far between, we do still have some ideas on what the costumes look like. And one of the clearest photos is of this everyday outfit for the former assassin and POW.

Black military-inspired boots and a black leather jacket give Bucky the same edge he’s had throughout the MCU while comfortable jeans and a grey t-shirt make let him blend in. A set of simple black leather gloves helps him hide his distinctive black and gold vibranium arm. Fans can take things a step further by getting a set of his dog tags from Etsy, though none currently listed match the props that Sebastian Stan shared on his Instagram while filming.

Sam Wilson from Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Sam Wilson from Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie) has been a staple in the MCU since his introduction in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Using the code name Falcon, he has been at Steve Rogers’ side through every battle since the resurgence of Hydra. In the comics he is as close to Steve as Bucky is, sharing such a deep bond with the original Captain America that the two can formulate plans with little more than glances and nods of the head. They have a similar relationship in the MCU, though it is a little more understated.

It is no wonder, though, that Sam is the one Steve chooses to carry on the legacy of Captain America when he retires. Although fans still aren’t sure exactly how that will work out, we got a few hints when Disney+ dropped its Super Bowl spot. Viewers got a glimpse of Sam in a grey pullover and comfortable jeans with his iconic shield on his arm. It’s a simple look but the understated costume just highlights how comfortable he feels with the shield on his arm!
