Ethan/Gold from Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver
Gold (Ethan) (voiced in Pokemon Masters Ex in Japanese by Daisuke Hirose and in English by Ted Sroka) is the main protagonist of the Pokemon games (Heart)Gold and (Soul)Silver.
In this iteration of his design, he has the same sort of hair style he does throughout the rest, with short black hair styled out into a very long bang piece, with a black and gold cap worn over top. His eyes are a mid-toned grey color. Gold’s main outfit for this version consists of a red zip up jacket with white and black details, worn over a black shirt, and black capri pants. This is finished off with a white and black shoulder bag strapped across his chest, and red and white sneakers.
Minsc from Baldur’s Gate 3
Minsc is a character from the video game, Baldur’s Gate 3. He is a Human Ranger who appeared in the previous games as well. More notably, he is a Rashemaar berserker from the matriarchal nation of Rasheman. Minsc can become a Companion in Act 3 if the player helps Jahiera on her personal quest. What he lacks in intelligence he makes up for in brawn and determination. You rarely see Minsc without Boo, his beloved hamster companion.
Hayner from Kingdom Hearts 3
This will be covering Hayner in Kingdom Hearts 3, if you would like to see his KH2 outfit, please head over to this article! His voice actors changed going into KH3, with Makoto Suto voicing him in Japanese, and Zachary Gordon voicing him in English.
Hayner still has the same wavy styled back hair as in the rest of the series, but it’s rendered in a slightly darker golden brown. His eyes are still a light brown shade. His main outfit consists of a white tanktop with the same symbol as his original outfit drawn on it in black, with a cropped open vest in black and red plaid worn over top, while his capris are a distressed dark grey-blue denim material. His shoes are open back slip ons, in the same color pattern as his vest, and he wears the same X-shaped necklace and leather bracelet as in the rest of the series.
Olette from Kingdom Hearts 3
In this article I’ll be covering Olette’s look in Kingdom Hearts 3, but if you would like to see how she looks in the other games, please find my earlier article about that over here! Both her English and Japanese voice actors change between games, with Ashley Boettcher taking over in English, and Yuna Watanabe in Japanese.
Her hair and eyes are the same as before (brown and light green respectively), and her clothes are much darker toned, matching with her friends. Her tanktop is black with dark orange accents, and her pants are a pair of plaid capris, with bright yellow and blue stripes throughout them, and the look is finished off with muted reddish orange socks, black sneakers with the same orange for the laces, a black and red beaded bracelet, and a matching red necklace.
Pence from Kingdom Hearts 3
This article will be covering Pence’s outfit in Kingdom Hearts 3, if you would like to see his earlier iterations, please check out my first article here! His English voice actor changed in KH3 to Tristan Chase, but in Japanese he is still voiced by Hayato Taya.
Pence’s hair and eyes remain unchanged (both in dark and light brown as before), but his headband is a solid black instead of two toned. He wears a long, 3/4 sleeved shirt in black and white, with a similar DogStreet logo to his old shirt, with a striped sunset-toned bandana around his neck. His pants are long, plain black ones, and he wears laceless shoes in a similar color scheme to the rest of his outfit, including the colors from his bandana.
Volo from Baldur’s Gate 3
Volo is a character in Baldur’s Gate 3. He is a Human Wizard who appears in Act 1 of the game at the Sacred Pool, where he tries to interview a bear. If you speak with him, he then tries to interview you – though he won’t agree with your retelling entirely. See, he’s best known for his wildly inaccurate and exaggerated guidebooks. The player can allow Volo to join their camp. While there, he’ll make quite the gory attempt to remove the Mind Flayer tadpole from your eye. But he gives you an enchanted eye in compensation, which grants Volo’s Ersatz Eye as a permanent buff.
Allen Llewellyn from AliceMare
Allen is the main player character in the RPGMaker game, AliceMare, created by Miwashiba.
All of the characters in AliceMare are based off of characters from various fairytales, and Allen’s inspiration is Alice from Alice in Wonderland. While most of the other characters are from different stories, two of the major characters Allen interacts with are the Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit.
Allen has short, fluffy blonde hair, and soft blue eyes. His main outfit is thematically Alice inspired, with a long sleeved white button up shirt, a small red and blue bolo tie with a gold clasp, dark blue wide leg shorts connected to similarly colored suspenders, knee high blue and white striped socks, and dark blue mary jane-styled shoes.
Pence from Kingdom Hearts 2
Pence (voiced in Japanese by Hayato Taya and in English by Sean Marquette [KH2]) is one of Roxas’s friends in the Kingdom Hearts series.
He is part of the group along with Hayner and Olette, and generally tries to keep the peace between both their internal group, and Seifer’s Disciplinary Committee (this doesn’t often go well). He’s a lot more tech oriented than the others, and eventually helps Sora try to get into the computer system in the basement of the old mansion.
Pence has dark brown spiky hair that he wears a black and white headband across, and light brown eyes. His KH2 outfit consists of a white long-sleeved undershirt with black cuffs, which he wears a red, black, and white jersey-type shirt over top of, which has a black image of a dog with bones over it, and ‘DogStreet’ written vertically next to it. He wears a purple bandana around his neck, obscuring the collars of the shirts. His pants are a pair of oversized mid-toned blue jean-looking ones (though they may not be denim), which he wears over the back heels of his shoes, which are white with blue detailing and dark grey soles.
Halsin from Baldur’s Gate 3
Halsin is a character from the video game, Baldur’s Gate 3. He is a Wood Elf Druid. More notably, he is the Archdruid of the Emerald Grove and an accomplished healer. Before his disappearance, Halsin and his apprentice Nettie were researching the recent spike in illithid tadpole infections. The player first meets him upon rescuing him in the Goblin Camp. He becomes a Companion in Act 2, where he helps the party lift the shadow curse. His preferred Wild Shape is a bear, and he likes carving wooden ducks. Use the leaves to cover the shoulder pads and gauntlets. Use this 3d print file for the emblem in the center of his armor.
He Who Was from Baldur’s Gate 3
He Who Was is a character in Baldur’s Gate 3. He is a shadar-kai NPC who resides in the shadow-cursed lands. He has a Raven companion. The player may meet him in Act 2 while traversing the Ruined Battlefield. His quest is Punish the Wicked, in which the player can choose to help him punish Madeline through necromancy, or the player can help defend her. Use the black eyeliner to draw his eye and chin tattoos.
