Carbon Costume

Skuld is a character that is currently only exclusive to the mobile game Kingdom Hearts χ, as part of the larger Kingdom Hearts series, though it is hinted that she may have a much more important connection to things coming up.

She is from the same union as Ephemer(a), and eventually gets recruited as one of the Union leaders after being part of the Dandelions. We don’t know all that much about her as a character yet, as she’s not featured as much in the game as some of the other major characters.

Skuld wears her dark blue hair in a long hime cut, and has light chocolate brown eyes. She wears a white zip-up vest with a large silver zipper, a cropped black short sleeve bolero jacket with pink straps sitting at the ends. The lower half of her outfit consists of a navy blue pleated skirt topped with two black and silver studded belts, a silver starry chain (stars are pretty prevalent in character designs in this game), black thigh-high socks, and open ankle black boots wrapped with the same belts as the sleeves. The outfit is finished off with black fingerless gloves and pink starry earrings.

The Luminary (voiced by Mitsuki Saiga and Rasmus Hardiker) is the main protagonist of the video game Dragon Quest XI.  The reincarnation of an ancient hero, he sets out to fulfill his prophesied destiny when he turns sixteen.  The Luminary has brown hair that reaches his shoulders and wields a sword as his primary weapon.  His costume consists of green boots, brown pants, a grey undershirt, and a purple tunic. Finding an exact match for his shoes is especially difficult, so decide whether you like the cut or color best and then find shoes that suit that need.  Finish your look with a belt, a sword holster, and a satchel.

Ephemer/a (voiced in Japanese by Yūto Uemura and in English by Michael Johnston) is one of the characters that we first meet in Kingdom Hearts χ/Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ.

Like everything in Kingdom Hearts, there are many varied layers to his character and the story surrounding him, but we mostly see him in context with the Foretellers and Dandelions, such as the Player character, and Ventus.

Ephemer has short grey hair with a light curl to it (the wig I linked is actually the one I personally used for my cosplay for him!), and bluey-teal eyes. Like his backstory, his outfit is also layered.

He wears a simple short-sleeved button up white shirt with a short-sleeved black bolero jacket over top, finished off with a tasseled and detailed red scarf. Around his waist he wears a tan colored belted satchel, brown baggy cargo pants, and rounds it all off with flared wrist black gloves and matching high black boots.

Elrena is a member of the Dandelions, a group of keyblade wielders in the Kingdom Hearts mobile game Union χ, and the Somebody of Larxene, a member of Organization XIII.

As a member of the Dandelions she is also friends and commonly teamed up with Strelitzia, who is Lauriam‘s little sister, Lauriam later becoming Marluxia in the Organization as well.

While the two little antenna points in her hair stays consistent from being Elrena to becoming Larxene, her younger form does have bangs as well. Her eye color being a tealy green does however stay the same (up to a point).

Elrena wears a white buttoned shirt over a silver beaded necklace, with a black tie over top, a matching black belt with silver buckle and black athletic shorts, a pocket chain to match the necklace, a teal biker jacket, black knee high socks, and zip up boots that match the jacket.

Lauriam is one of the members of the Dandelions in the mobile game Kingdom Hearts Union χ and was chosen to be one of the new union leaders, he later on becomes Marluxia in Organization XIII.

The majority of the time we see him, he is looking to find answers about what befell his sister Strelitzia, and her teammate, Elrena, finally gives him a concrete answer, which sends him into a spiral.

Lauriam looks very much the same as he does later on when he becomes Marluxia, though his dusty pink hair is a little shorter and choppier here, but his eyes are still the same vibrant blue.

He wears a longer white button shirt with flared sleeves and a stiff flared collar, a black, gold buttoned, vest with tattered ends that reach down to the backs of his legs, deep pink pants tucked into his boots, and black front zip boots with gold detailing.

Cloud Strife is the main playable character in Final Fantasy VII and its remake.  Cloud wields broadswords at his primary weapons, including the massive Buster Sword.  Cloud’s appearance is similar between the two versions of the game, though more solidly black and streamlined in the 2020 remake.  To recreate his look, you’ll need a sleeveless turtleneck, wide leg pants, and combat boots, not to mention his signature blond, spiky hair and larger-than-life sword.

In Life is Strange, Rachel Amber is a popular high-achieving student at Blackwell Academy who goes missing. She was close with Chloe Price and dreamed leaving Arcadia Bay with her. Similar to Max Caulfield, she had a natural eye for art.

Squall is main protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII. He embodies the characteristics of strength and courage, represented by the lion. He is often viewed as cold and distant. Squall has a strong sense of responsibility that draws others to him, making him the reluctant leader. While not part of this costume, you may want to consider adding this Triple Triad deck.
