Vernon Milton Boyd IV, known as simply "Boyd," is a character in MTV's Teen Wolf. He worked at the local ice rink. As a student at Beacon Hills High School, he was known as a loner and ate lunch by himself. Derek Hale befriends him and gives him the bite, inducting him into his pack. He develops a close relationship with his fellow beta, Erica Reyes. While known as the muscle, Boyd is quite resourceful. In season three, he creates a plan to stop the Alpha Pack. He floods Derek's loft with water and throws in a live wire. However, one alpha cuts the power and forces Derek to kill Boyd, resulting in one of the most shocking and tragic deaths on the show. Boyd was played by Sinqua Walls.
