Asami Sato is a major character in Nickelodeon's Legend of Korra, the continuation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. We're first introduced to Asami after she hits Mako with her motorbike. They quickly get into a relationship, which upsets Korra, because she had a crush on Mako.  On their date,  it's revealed that Asami is the daughter of Hiroshi Sato, the wealthy inventor of motorbikes. While Asami is a non-bender, she joins Team Avatar to defeat Amon. This proves an emotional struggle because she must betray her father. Upon his sacrificial death, she takes over the company, starting a  career in business and industrialization as the CEO of Future Industries. At the end of the series, Asami begins a relationship with Korra.
