Keiko Morita from Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate
Keiko Morita (voicd by Maya Aoki Tuttle) is a character from the TV movie Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate. Keiko is Megamind’s biggest fan and a social media influencer. She uses her phone to capture many of Megamind’s actions, much like reporter Roxanne Ritchi in the original Megamind film. Keiko wears a colorful outfit that consists of a green tank top with a blue lightning bolt layered over a purple shirt. She also wears baggy pants and combat boots, and acessorizes her outfit with a choker necklace and sheer fingerless gloves paired with studded bracelets.
Jinmay from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!
Jinmay (voiced by Ashley Johnson and Yurin) is a robotic character in the animated series Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! She is an honorary member of the Hyperforce alongside Chiro. Jinmay has pink hair she wears in low pigtails and bright green eyes. She wears a mint green dress with a pink heart decal over an orange short sleeved blouse. She also wears white knee high socks an dmint green shoes. You can add a heart-shaped iron on decal to a green dress to get closer to Jinmay’s appearance on the show.
Leo Barnes from The Purge: Anarchy
Leo Barnes (played by Frank Grillo) is a police sergeant who appears in two installments of The Purge franchise. After his son is killed by a drunk driver, Leo resolves to seek revenge on the night of the annual Purge. Later, he becomes head of security for Charlie Roan. Leo dresses sensibly for his Purge night, bringing a duffel bag with extra weapons and wearing clothes that are dark in color and easy to move in. To create your costume, choose grey pants and black boots, a light grey t-shirt and a black sweater with a black pea coat. Don’t forget the fake blood.
Vito Scaletta from Mafia II
Vito Scaletta (voiced by Rick Pasqualone) is the protagonist of the Mafia II video game and a member of the Falcone Crime Family. Vito served in the Vietnam War like Lincoln Clay, where both received the Distinguished Service Cross. Vito dresses the part of a gangster, with dark slicked hair and wearing expensive suits. He also often wears a long wool trench coat or a shorter bomber jacket.
Red Poncho from Craig of the Creek
Xavier (voiced by Charles DeWayne) is a character from the cartoon series Craig of the Creek. He is the former king of the Other Side of the Creek and also takes on the persona of the Red Poncho. Xavier is a tyrranical king and finds himself at odds with Craig Wiliams during a game of capture the flag. As the Red Poncho, Xavier wears black and white shoes, grey socks, and black pants. He also has a black long sleeved shirt and matching gloves. To finish your look, you’ll need a lack hood and glowing goggles. True night vision goggles like Xavier’s can be pricey, but a pair of steampunk inspired ones will get the job done. Lastly, don your red poncho and a red mask over the lower half of your face.
The Fates from Hadestown
The Fates (originally played by Jewell Blackman, Kay Trinidad, and Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer on Broadway) are mischievous characters in the musical Hadestown. Often found interfering with Eurydice and making her life more difficult, the Fates are three characters dressed in shades of black, white, and grey who work together throughout the show. None of their costumes are exactly alike, but they use similar pieces to create a cohesive group costume. Start with a flowy white and black patterned dress, and add a black waist belt. Tuck your hair beneath a black and white turban and clip on a black fascinator. Finish with black tights and heels, and a dab of black lipstick.
Mrs. Doyle from Father Ted
Mrs. Doyle (portrayed by Pauline McLynn) is the dowdy housekeeper from the comedy series Father Ted. She works for the titular Father Ted Crilly, Father Jack Hackett, and Father Dougal McGuire. Mrs. Doyle has messy hair and wears modest clothing. To create your costume, you’ll need dark pantyhose, oxford shoes, and a brown midi-length skirt. Pair this with a floral blouse that includes a tie feature at the collar. Mrs. Doyle also wears smocks over her clothes as part of her houskeeping attire, so choose one in a neutral color and complete your costume with a cozy oversized cardigan.
Mackenzie Carpenter from Drive Thru
Mackenzie Carpenter (played by Leighton Meester) is the protagonist of the horror movie Drive Thru. Mackenzie and her friends are targeted by a demonic mascot, Horny the Clown. Her style is true to the time the film was made, relying on the punk/emo aesthetic of the early 2000s. Mackenzie wears several different outfits throughout the movie, but two of the most memorable are worn while she’s chased by the killer mascot. To create your costume, start with eyeliner, black nail polish, and a thick black leather cuff watch. Then, choose which outfit to recreate. Earlier in the film, Mackenzie wears low rise grey jeans, a skull print tee, and a black zip up hoodie with white graphics. Later, she wears black combat boots, wide leg camo pants, and a burgundy tank top.
Schrodinger from Hellsing
Schrodinger (voiced by Ryoko Shiraishi and Laura Bailey) is a major antagonist in the anime series Hellsing, which means he is often at odds with the vampire Alucard. He is often playful and teasing werecat, but that does not diminish his cruelty. Schrodinger wears a Nazi youth uniform, which you can recreate with a short sleeved yellow button down, long black shorts, and knee high socks. Add some accessories including a black tie, white gloves, a black belt, and a white and red striped arm band, and a leather strap over your right shoulder. Finish your look with a blonde wig and animal ear headband.

Father Jack Hackett (played by Frank Kelly) is one of the trio of bad priests banished to Craggy Island in the British television series Father Ted. Father Jack is an alcoholic and tends to be very rude, often more antagonistic than his fellow priests Father Ted Crilly and Father Dougal McGuire. As is sometimes the case, the accessories are really what will make your Father Jack costume work. Start with a black shirt and tab collar, and a black suit to match. Then, you’ll want a balding wig that you can style to be as wildly disheveled as possible. Use a makeup sponge and a cream makeup stick to add red blotches to your face, and then complete your outfit with a cane and a fake cigarette.
