Abe Lincoln from Clone High
Abe Lincoln (voiced by Will Forte) is an awkward teenage clone of President Abraham Lincoln in the MTV animated series Clone High. Created by Principal Scudworth, Abe is one of many cloned historical figures to attend the titular high school. Abe is non-confrontational, which sometimes makes him seem like a pushover. His first real friends are Gandhi and Joan of Arc, the latter of whom tries to make it clear to an oblivious Abe that she has a crush on him. Abe is tall and rather gangly, and wears a blue and white baseball tee, khaki pants, and black and white sneakers. You can use a fake chin strap beard to add facial hair and a brown makeup pencil to recreate his mole.
Cactus McCoy from Cactus McCoy and the Curse of Thorns
Cactus McCoy is the main character of the video game Cactus McCoy and the Curse of Thorns. Prior to a curse which turned him into a cactus, McCoy was a human treasure hunter. After his transformation, he becomes a gunslinger but never loses his love for seeking treasure. To create your look start with a cactus costume and then add a hat, vest, cape, and black jeans. You will also need cowboy boots and spurs.
Tito Dick from The Nutshack
Tito Dick (voiced by Rex Navarrete and Joey Guila) is a supporting character in the cartoon series The Nutshack. He is the uncle of main characters Phil Maitbag and Jack Colero, who live with him. Tito enjoys partying and has been known to manipulate Phil, though he loves both his nephew. Tito wears a black tank top, bell bottom pants, and brown square toed shoes. His accessories are all gold and include aviator sunglasses, a dollar sign chain necklace, several bracelets, and a belt buckle that says “dickman.” You can choose a similar belt buckle with a “D” on it to get as close as possible to the original design.
JFK from Clone High
JFK (voiced by Christopher Miller) is one of the cloned teenagers created by Principal Scudworth who attends the titular Clone High. He attends school alongside classmates like Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc, and Gandhi. JFK is athletic and popular, with a self-centered personality that includes cheating on his girlfriend Cleopatra. JFK has brown hair and wears a striped long sleeved polo shirt with khakis and dark brown loafers.
Billy Dilley from Billy Dilley’s Super-Duper Subterranean Summer
Billy Dilley (voiced by series creator Aaron Springer) is the titular protagonist of the Disney XD animated series Billy Dilley’s Super-Duper Subterranean Summer. Alongside his lab partners Zeke and Marsha, Billy finds himself trapped in a strange world near the Earth’s core over their summer vacation. Billy can be socially awkward, but is deeply intersted in science, which serves him and his friends well on their adventure. To create your costume, you’ll need a ginger afro wig, long sleeved turquoise shirt, light blue pants, royal blue sneakers, and white gloves. If you’d like to include Billy’s hat, you can choose a blue and white one to start with and add the “B” to the front using green fabric paint.
Principal Scudworth from Clone High
Principal Scudworth (voiced by Phil Lord) is the primary antagonist of the MTV animated series Clone High. A mad scientist who created clones of historical figures as teenagers, Scudworth is employed the Secret Board of Shadowy Figures as the Principal of Clone High where he oversees students like Joan of Arc. Principal Scudworth wears a light blue shirt, dark blue tight, black pants, and black shoes. Over that, he wears a white lab coat and yellow rubber gloves. Complete your costume with half moon glasses and a self-adhesive goatee.
Murderbot
Murderbot (played by Alexander Skarsgard) is the titular security unit in Apple TV’s Murderbot. It is also the narrator of The Murderbot Diaries book series, upon which the series is based. Murderbot is assigned to protect the PreservationAux team including Pin-Lee and Dr. Gurathin. In the series, Murderbot is shown as wearing white, black, and grey armor, with an asymmetrical helmet. To create your costume, you can start with white and grey padded clothing for motorcycle riding. Layer knee pads, chest armor, and forearm guards with gloves over that. For the unique helmet, you can either purchase a black helmet and carefully add details with grey and white paint, or opt for a 3D printed mask instead.
Zsa-zsa Korda from The Phoenician Scheme
Zsa-zsa Korda (played by Benicio del Toro) is the primary protagonist of Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme. Zsa-zsa is a wealthy European businessman whose life is in danger while he pursues a new business venture. Zsa-zsa is accompanied in his travels by his daughter Liesl, a nun who he has named his sole heir, and Bjorn Lund. Zsa-zsa is in a plane crash–one of six in his lifetime–which leaves him with several injuries. To create your costume, you’ll want to start by choosing one of his looks and then accessorizing as necessary. You could choose to create his desert-inspired outfit with khaki pants and jacket, and a white scarf used as a sling for his injured left arm, or his grey pinstripe suit with grey tie, white pocket square, and an abundance of bandages and gauze.
Jim Kuback from Mission Hill
James “Jim” Kuback (voiced by Brian Posehn) is one of the four roommates who star in the animated series Mission Hill. Jim has been best friends with Andy French since high school and now lives with Andy, his younger brother Kevin, and Posey Tyler. Jim makes good money working in advertising and is a whiz with all things electronic. Jim has ginger hair and a matching beard. He wears a magenta shirt and violet colored pants, with red sneakers. You can use a fabric marker to add the “Mac” on his shirt.
Sister Liesl from The Phoenician Scheme
Sister Liesl (played by Mia Threapleton) is one of the main characters in Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme. One of Zsa-zsa Korda‘s ten children, Liesl is chosen as his sole heir and travels with her father while he survives several attempts on his life. Liesl is a nun, and she wears a white uniform included a veil, long sleeved shirt, and a white dress. White tights are also part of her uniform, though Liesl can be seen wearing tights in shades of green as well. She wears black shoes, a silver cross necklace, and carries a rosary with green beads.
