The events of his ordeal were turned into a movie directed by Danny Boyle in 2010. This costume could be recreated with your own hiking gear if you have it, just don’t forget to bring your trusty multi-tool pocketknife for emergencies!

Thelma Yvonne Dickinson from Thelma and Louise
Thelma Yvonne Dickinson played by Geena Davis is a housewife living in Arkansas. She married young and is in an abusive relationship where she does not get much if any freedom. Her best friend is Louise who is a waitress and works for a living. Thelma’s character is desperate to experience an exciting new life as she has been trapped in a life she never really wanted. She, however, tends to overcompensate with drinking. Within the nightfall of their weekend getaway, Thelma has a traumatic incident that only Louise could save her from. The two go from a pleasant vacation to a drastic measure runaway to escape the US and find safety in Mexico. Thelma’s style is a little more glamourous than Louise. Use blue eyeshadow and a substantial amount of any rose-colored blush. This is a warm-weather outfit but you could add a leather, suede, or jean jacket if you live in a colder climate. What completes this look is having a partner! There is no Thelma without Louise and vice versa.

At the same time, she is often frightened and impressionable, and her outspoken personality gets her into trouble. Under the guise of Dread Pirate Roberts, he rescues her, motivated by their love. Robin Wright plays her in the movie adaptation.

Chet from Cherdleys
Chet is a recurring character in Cherdley’s (Chad LeBaron)’s sketch comedy videos on Youtube. Played by LeBaron himself, Chet is an egotistical and womanizing frat boy. Nikki Finn from Who’s That Girl?
Nikki Finn played by Madonna in ‘Who’s That Girl?’ is a free-spirited woman who has just gotten out of jail after wrongly being convicted of her boyfriend’s murder. The Philadelphia native is now on a quest to prove her innocence. She meets lawyer Loudon Trott who she convinces to help her. Nikki Finn more or less is Madonna playing her self. Late 80’s style is super fun and playful. As far as sizing goes you want tops to fit snug maybe size down on your purchase, while bottoms should be based on your comfort level. It should be high waisted so keep that in mind for the length you want. The jacket should be oversized so maybe go a size or two up. I included flat-head studs so you could stud your own jacket to match. You may need an awl to poke through the leather as you stud. Be sure to brush out the curls off your wig and don’t be afraid to let it look messy!
