Seiko Shinohara from Corpse Party
Seiko Shinohara is your average sweet – if silly – school girl. It doesn’t save her from the darkening. But it does help her save the girl she loves from meeting the same heartbreaking fate. She is voiced by Miki Honda and Satomi Arai in the video games, and played by Youko Kita in the live-action movie, all of whom capture the sweet, sad nature of Seiko’s character.
For this cosplay I opted to go with Seiko’s appearance while alive. Unless you are going to a horror convention or an adults-only convention, it is probably best to opt for this version as Seiko’s appearance after her murder can be very upsetting for children and other convention attendees.
Seiko wears a pretty typical school uniform: White undershirt with a blue line across the chest (that you will have to paint on), tan v-neck pullover sweater, blue pleated skirt, and white shoes. Her uniform collar is blue with a yellow tie that she decorates with a brooch. She also has long brown hair which she wears with bangs and loops behind her ears. The style doesn’t exist on premade wigs so you will have to style the wig by hand.
As a final touch, pin your convention badge at your waist where Seiko wears her nametag!
Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2
Handsome Jack (voiced by Dameon Clarke) is one of the antagonists in Gearbox Software’s hit franchise Borderlands. He is charasmatic, engaging, and thoroughly evil. Of course everyone loves a good villain and Handsome Jack is no exception. Of course it helps that he is modeled after two other fan favorite characters: Jack Harkness from Doctor Who and Mal from Firefly. Neither man would get along with Handsome Jack, unless of course we’re talking about their style.
There are two keys to getting Handsome Jack’s look: His mask and his layers.
You can buy a premade mask on Etsy. Or, if you want something more pliable, you can use face paint to recreate the look of his mask.
His layers are a little bit easier. Start with a long-sleeve yellow shirt and add a long white collared overshirt on top. Then put on a brown leather vest and finally a short blue coat. Once all that is in place you can finish off the clothes with black jeans and a brown belt with a large buckle, brown sneakers, and a large digital watch. The finishing touch, a brown wig, will have you set to hatch your own schemes in no time.
Noob from Roblox
Roblox is an online gaming platform that allows users to create their own games as well as play those made by other users. A Roblox noob’s avatar is often depicted as a generic, square-shaped humanoid. While there is some personalization available, a stereotypical noob will be yellow with a simple happy face, blue shirt, and green pants. You can use a black fabric marker to create the smiley face on a yellow zentai suit, and then layer clothes over it to recreate the avatar’s look to your specifications.

Fireflies from The Last of Us
The Fireflies are a paramilitary group of antagonistic rebels in The Last of Us and its sequel. They fought against military control in quarantine zones and sought a cure to CBI on their own. Though they are more organized than other rebel groups, their uniforms do vary from person to person based on what they can get their hands on. Every member, however, has the Firefly symbol somewhere on their gear.
There are two sets of paramilitary clothes pictured above. One is more of a woodland set while the other would be good in urban or snowy climates where cooler colors would blend in well. Both sets can be turned into Firefly gear through the use a Firefly patch on the clothing, decal on the gear, or dog tag added to the outfit.
Richter Belmont from Castlevania
Richter Belmont (voiced in the English games by David Vincent and the Japanese by Kiyoyuki Yanda) is the bane of Dracula’s existence. Well one of them anyway. A vampire hunter from a long line of them, Belmont wields the Sacred Whip in his efforts to rid the world of evil.
There are several variations on Belmont’s costume. This write-up will focus on the one pictured above. To start you’ll want a long blue military coat. You’ll have to cuff the sleeves and likely pin them in place so they don’t unroll while you’re wearing the costume. You’ll also need long black gloves and a pair of white pants. Finish it off with a bandolier, a brown wig, brown pirate boots, and – of course – the Scared Whip!

Bomberman
Bomberman – also known as Shiroban, White Bomber, or Cheerful White, is the main protagonist in the game Bomberman. While the game was originally put out by Konami, Bomberman also makes an appearance as a non-playable character in Super Smash Bros from Nintendo. He doesn’t have much to say but that hasn’t stopped the guy from becoming a fan favorite!
Bomberman’s costume takes a little bit of DIY but it’s worth it for this fun cosplay. Most of the DIY centers on the pink ball above his head. You can copy this look by gluing a lightweight ball to the top of a foam cylinder cut from a longer length of foam. You can then glue the other end of the cylinder to the hood of your body suit or, if you want to use the body suit for multiple costumes, you can glue the cylinder to a white headband.
The rest of the costume is just a matter of layers! A white bodysuit makes up the base while black face paint can mimic Bomberman’s eyes. On top of the body suit you’ll want a purple unitard and a black belt with a gold buckle. Finally add on the pink gloves and pink shoe covers. That’s all it takes to cosplay this jolly little guy. Boom, easy!
Amber from Brawl Stars
Amber (voiced by Leah Arscott) is a legendary brawler from Brawl Stars whose attacks focus on fire. She can use her Fire Starter gadget to trail fire behind her. Amber’s costume is extremely fun and colorful and includes a long rainbow colored braid, bright accessories, and a purple top with gold trim.
The Clown from Dead By Daylight
Kenneth Chase was an athletic young man whose fascination for birds led to him drugging and killing them for their feathers. Once his obsession carried over to humans and after fleeing the police in his hometown, he joined the circus under the alias Jeffrey Hawk, using the cover of a friendly clown to hide his dark nature. This allowed him to kill many victims, keeping a finger from each. The Clown now drugs and sacrifices countless survivors as one of the killers in the game Dead by Daylight. The Clown’s costume can be recreated a few ways, depending on your personal tastes. You can use a latex mask, or recreate his clown makeup by hand, and a colorful clown costume could be made to look dingy, or a more subtly colored one could be substituted in its stead.
