Maki Kuwana is a character in the manga Blue Period. Illustrated by Tsbuasa Yamaguchi, the series was serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine and has been collected in ten volumes. She attended the same school as Yatora. While seemingly positive, Maki feels inferior compared to her older sister. Her lack of self confidence prevents her from seeing how her artistic innovations inspire others. She is very friendly and caring as well, as displayed through sharing her lunch with students.
