Nana "Hachi" Komatsu is the main character in NANA. She lives in Tokyo with her husband, Takumi Ichinose, the bassist of Trapnest, a pop rock band in Japan. Together they have two children: Ren and Satsuki. She also has connections with another band called the Black Stones. While Nana matures throughout the series, she has a habit of falling in love at first sight and depending on others to help her.
