Vanessa Marianna-Fisk from Daredevil
Vanessa Marianna – later Vanessa Marianna-Fisk – is the lover-turned-wife of Daredevil’s antagonist, Wilson Fisk. Played by Ayelet Zurer she is the epitome of class and grace. From her position as an art dealer to her selectively minimal tastes she is a perfect match for Fisk is nearly every way though she lacks his more bloodthirsty tendencies.
Although Vanessa wears several different costumes they are all streamlined, minimalist, and well-fitted. She also wears white more and more often the longer she is with Fisk which was a deliberate choice by costuming. To that end, a white pencil dress and white heels are a good option for a Vanessa cosplay. A set of elegant gold earrings and a long gold necklace round out the accessories while her signature highlighted hair and some delicate makeup complete the look as a whole
Regan Abbott from A Quiet Place
Regan Abbott (played by deaf actress Millicent Simmonds) is the eldest child of Lee and Evelyn Abbott in the movie A Quiet Place. Regan has a cochlear implant, and she and her father often argue when he excludes her from activities out of fear that she will unintentionally make noise that will alert the deadly creatures they are hiding from, as they have extremely sensitive hearing. Regan communicates through American Sign Language, which the rest of her family has learned as well, allowing them to speak without sound. Regan wears a pink, blue, and white striped skirt layered with floral leggings and a striped and navy blue turtleneck shirt.

Evelyn Abbott from A Quiet Place
Evelyn Abbott (played by Emily Blunt) is the wife of Lee and mother to Regan, Marcus, and Beau in the movie A Quiet Place. During the course of the film, Evelyn also gives birth to a new baby while attempting to remain silent so as not to provoke the extraterrestrial creatures who have devastated Earth. Evelyn wears a long, flowing dress that fits comfortably over her baby belly, and a cozy sweater to stay warm. Finding the exact dress would be difficult, so choose a maxi dress with a similar pattern or color scheme to layer with a white tank top and beige cable knit cardigan.
How to Make Your Costume Immersive with Food and Music Pairings in 2020

Jonathan Bree
Guitarist and music producer Jonathan Bree is known for his frequent collaborations with fellow New Zealand artist Princess Chelsea (such as “The Cigarette Duet”). His solo work as a musician is just as entertaining and bizarre, as he hides his entire behind a white mask and wears very Beatle-esque clothing for his onstage ensemble.
Mrs. Nellie Lovett from Sweeney Todd
Mrs. Nellie Lovett is a main character in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. She runs a pie shop, but she claims she serves the “worst pies in London.” When Benjamin Barker/Sweeney Todd visits, she comes up with the idea to turn his victims into pies. Mrs. Lovett becomes infatuated with Mr. Todd and plans to live a happy, married life with him, but he kills her when it’s revealed she hid information about his ex-wife. She’s rather eccentric and psychopathic, but she serves as comic relief. Helena Bonham Carter plays the role in the Tim Burton movie, which inspired this costume guide. Sew the red trim on the blouse for that pop of color, and style your hair with a teasing comb and hair spray.
Monica Geller from Friends
Monica Geller (Courteney Cox) is Rachel Greene‘s worldly, grounded roommate who takes the runaway bride in at the start of the Friends series. Monica’s presence on the show pushed boundaries on television, encouraging viewers to think about sensitive subjects such as obesity and what constitutes promiscuity in her day and age. Monica’s sense of style centers around comfortable blue jeans, and basic-colored camisoles, T-shirts, or blouses — to me, it is highly evocative of the nineties.
Raymond Smith from The Gentlemen
Raymond Smith (played by Charlie Hunnam) is the right-hand man of marijuana magnate Mickey Pearson in Guy Ritchie’s film The Gentlemen. Ray spends much of the movie speaking with Fletcher, a private investigator who has been looking heavily into Mickey’s enterprise. Ray dresses quite well in accordance with his accrued wealth, and wears a pair of dark orange framed glasses.
Benjamin Barker/Sweeney Todd
Benjamin Barker/Sweeney Todd is the main character of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He first appeared in a Victorian penny dreadful serial, but his fame comes from the Stephen Sondheim musical, which was then adapted into a movie by Tim Burton. Throughout each iteration, his role remains the same: a psychopathic barber who murders his customers. Subsequently, Mrs. Lovett bakes the bodies of his victims into meat pies for her shop. He takes on the alias of Sweeney Todd to abandon the identity of Benjamin Barker, who had been falsely convicted and banished, to now take revenge on those who wronged him. He especially wants vengeance against Judge Turpin for kidnapping his daughter. This costume takes inspiration from the Tim Burton movie, where Johnny Depp stars as the title role.
