Prince Phillip

Prince Phillip is a character in the 1959 animated Disney classic, Sleeping Beauty. He is based on the prince from the original fairytale. He encounters Princess Aurora, under the alias of Briar Rose, in the forest and dances with her to "Once Upon a Dream." When the princess is put to sleep by Maleficent's curse, Prince Phillip finds her and kisses her. Because he is her true love, she awakens and the curse is broken, so everyone lives happily ever after.
