Kerri Strug is the little gymnast that could. As part of the “Magnificent Seven”, Strug proved just why they were so magnificent by landing her final vault (while injured, mind you) on one foot. Not only did she cinch the gold for the U.S. team, but she showed the world why she deserved to be an Olympian.

This charismatic Romanian coach who’s lead numerous women to gymnastics gold, is not only an icon, but a treasure to the gymnastics world. Sporting an old-school ‘stache, a booming voice, and an enthusiasm unmatched by others, Karolyi will go down in history as not only a great coach, but as a fixture at the summer Olympics.
Aliona Savchenko
Aliona Savchenko is one half of the German pairs skating team, who got a lot of attention with her Pink Panther getup. By far one of the most eye-catching ensembles of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, Savchenko paired her awesome pink costume with an equally awesome performance.

In The Walking Dead, Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) is a teenage girl surviving the zombie apocalypse. Despite her shy and soft spoken nature, she’s quite tough and maintains her optimism. She’ll even sing you a song once in awhile.

Mr. Monopoly, known by some as Rich Uncle Pennybags, is perhaps the most famous fictional real estate mogul in history. Dressed to impress with a top hat and cane, the board game mascot is easy to bring to life. Just don’t expect your “get out of jail free” card to actually do anything.

Afflicted with AIDS and addicted to drugs, transgendered Rayon (Jared Leto) is trying to find her way in the world. Teaming up with fellow AIDS patient Ron Woodroof, Rayon and Ron start the Dallas Buyers Club and distribute AIDS treatments that haven’t been FDA approved to those who can’t afford the new medicines.

Pharrell Williams is best known for his involvement with The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. but is also well known for his collaboration with other musicians like Daft Punk, Robin Thicke, and Gwen Stefani. He’s also into fashion and made a statement during the 2014 Grammys with his homage to Canadian mounties.
