Women
Susie from Wet Hot American Summer
Susie (Amy Poehler) is theater co-counselors with Ben, who is also her boyfriend. But as we all know, camp romances can change quickly. At least her passion for theater will keep her going through any possible heartaches.
Amethyst
Amethyst is a Crystal Gem with a fun and carefree personality, who indulges Steven Universe more than the others and takes part in his shenanigans. In her spare time she wrestles using the alias Purple Puma.
Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad
In Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn is the same crazed psychiatrist turned supervillain, but Margot Robbie’s is different from the usual take on Harleen Quinzel. One that’s less court jester and more of a deranged, bloodthirsty baseball player. To get the face makeup just right, follow this Harley Quinn makeup tutorial.
Gazelle
Gazelle (Sofia Boutella) is Richmond Valentine’s right hand woman in Kingsman: The Secret Service. She has lightning fast moves and can slice you in two with her bionic blade legs. For this costume, if you don’t want to walk around in stilts, then go with the heels, though there’s no guarantee that these will be any more comfortable.
Phoebe Larson
In American Ultra, Phoebe Larson (Kristen Stewart) is Mike Howell’s longtime girlfriend who’s caught up in a CIA plot to eliminate Mike. She’s got a slacker stoner look just like her boyfriend.
Stormtrooper
In Star Wars, Stormtroopers are the ground force of the Imperial Army. They tend to have poor aim, and thus are mostly of value as cannon fodder. Stormtrooper costumes range from supreme replicas at a hefty price to paper-thin and barely-there if that’s your thing. We recommend something in between.
Connie Maheswaran
Connie is Steven Universe’s friend who’s able to fuse with him to create Stevonnie. Connie’s outfits are the most varied out of all the characters in Steven Universe, giving you plenty of opportunities for costume changes.
Scarlet Overkill
In Minions, Scarlet Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock) is the world’s first female supervillain so naturally the minions want to be her henchmen. Let’s just hope they don’t accidentally kill her like all of their previous masters.
Sadness
In Inside Out, Sadness’ (voiced by Phyllis Smith) blue appearance reflects how she feels inside, especially when Joy, Anger, Disgust, and Fear ostracize her for turning Riley’s happy memories into sad ones. Eventually they all learn how important Sadness is to Riley’s emotional well-being and accept her for who she is.
Miss Argentina
In Beetlejuice, Miss Argentina (Patrice Martinez) serves as the receptionist in the afterlife waiting room. She had an unfortunate “little accident” which is how she ended up there. Her accident however doesn’t really explain why she’s green.
