Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) is the self-proclaimed mistress of all evil. After being snubbed from the royal christening of Princess Aurora, she curses her to prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep. Talk about an overreaction. Aunt Gayle, voiced by Megan Mullally, is the sensitive and unstable sister of Linda Belcher. Her hobbies include painting animal butts and pining after men. She stops by for a visit every now and then, and is seen wearing large blue glasses and a fanny pack.

In the FX television series Fargo, Deputy Molly Solverson (Allison Tolman) is a rookie police officer for the Bemidji police department. When a string of murders are committed in the sleepy Minnesota town, she suspects that Lorne Malvo and Lester Nygaard are somehow involved.

In the HBO series Girls, Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham) stars as a hip twenty-something from Brooklyn. She aspires to become a famous writer, but manages to bungle up pretty much everything, including her outfits, along the way.

In Orange is the New Black, Morello (Yael Stone) is one of the sweeter inmates at Litchfield. She makes the newbies feel at home with her kind personality and gifts of toothbrushes and toothpaste. She’s a romantic at heart and is constantly talking about her plans for her wedding to fiance Christopher. In season two, we learn that her fairy tale romance may not be all that it seems to be. At least she manages to always look put together with her curled hair and red lips, despite the drab clothing.

In Pacific Rim, Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) is an officer of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps and Raleigh Becket’s badass co-pilot. She lost her family in a Kaiju attack when she was a little girl, so she has a score to settle.

In 300, Lena Headey makes an appearance as Queen Gorgo of the Spartans. I guess that was good practice for becoming queen of Westeros in Game of Thrones.

Before she was Mystique she was Raven Darkhölme (Jennifer Lawrence). A girl with a hidden past and shape-shifting abilities, she eventually evolves into a super-villain. She has such a traumatic impact on the future of mutants, that Professor Xavier and the rest of the X-Men must go back to the past to try to change her destructive actions.
