Sabrina has gained popularity over the last year in the pop music space, and she has created a signature look and style for herself that she carries to this daytime performance of her most popular songs.

To dress like Sabrina in her Coachella 2024 performance, wear a cream or snakeskin pattern motorcycle jacket, a silver glitter top, khaki pleated mini skirt, and knee-high or mid-calf brown boots.

Nepeta Leijon from Homestuck

Nepeta Leijon is a troll from Homestuck, the MS Paint Adventure webcomic and game.  Jade Harley is her favorite human.  Nepeta is naive and enjoys friendly roleplay.  She hunts animals for food and lives in a cave.  Nepeta has grey skin and black hair.  Her outfit includes a black t-shirt with a dark green symbol, a green jacket, and grey pants.  She wears a blue cat-shaped hat, blue shoes, and has a long blue tail.  You can purchase a blue cat costume set to use the tail and add a pair of fangs to better emulate Nepeta’s troll-like appearance.

Totoko Yowai from Osomatsu-San

Totoko (voiced in Japanese by Aya Endo and in English by Cassandra Lee Morris) is one of the main female characters in the 2015 adaptation of the anime Osomatsu-San.

She is a recurring character that originally appeared in Osomatsu-Kun, the previous iteration of this series, and has carried on into the newer version. She is the daughter of fish merchants, and uses that part of her upbringing in her prospective idol career, being a fish themed idol (which never quite goes well for her). Towards the latter part of the series, she’s formed an unsteady friendship with another idol in the scene, Hashimoto Nyaa, despite how much they initially hated each other.

Totoko has mid-toned brown hair, worn slightly up in a bun topped with a pink headband, and with two small low pigtails that are tied with light yellow ribbons. Her eyes are a similar soft brown shade, and are very big and sparkly. Her usual outfit she’s seen in consists of a deep pink turtleneck sweater, a yellowy-green pleated skirt with yellow plaid details, and a pair of strapped closed-toed pumps in the same color pink as her sweater.

Melissa from Abbott Elementary

Melissa is a character in the school comedy series Abbott Elementary, and is played by Lisa Ann Walter. Melissa is a second grade teacher at the elementary school in the series. She is an established teacher at the school who is very confident and sure of herself.

Melissa has a unique style compared to her coworkers at the school. She has an edgier style, often wearing a leather jacket or faux leather leggings that are paired with a black blouse with a zipper detail. Pair the leather jacket with a ribbed green sweater for a fun pop of color and don’t forget a blue lanyard.

Kirimi Nekozawa from Ouran High School Host Club

Kirimi (voiced in Japanese by Kurumi Mamiya and in English by Cherami Leigh) is a side character in the anime/manga series Ouran High School Host Club.

She is Umehito Nekozawa’s five year old little sister, and isn’t seen very much over the course of the story, as he is also somewhat of a side character. She’s got a rather intense phobia of cats, and a fondness for shojo mangas, so it takes her a bit to get used to the fact that her brother is the exact opposite, as well him being very into the occult. We do see a small glimpse of them a bit later in the series, where she has embraced the exact same passions as him, and is seen wearing a matching black cloak.

Kirimi has very big, vibrant blue eyes, and long blonde hair worn up in twin pigtails, topped with little pink hair bows. She is most often seen wearing what is presumably her school uniform, with a white sailor top with pink and peach accents, and a matching peach skirt. Her socks are rolled white ruffled short ones, and then dark peach Mary Janes to match the rest of the uniform.

Chappell Roan from her NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Chappell Roan is a rising singer-songwriter that has a unique style when it comes to her stage costumes. She is inspired by drag and isn’t afraid to go all out glam in her performances. Her fans have taken a love to her style and share their concert-going costumes and outfits online where they show off their creativity by recreating her looks and making their own.

One recent look of hers is from her NPR Tiny Desk performance. To create this, wear a pink short dress, pink gloves, a pink and silver butterfly necklace, silver tiara, and red teased-up wig. In the wig, wear various silver butterfly clips throughout. For makeup wear a white foundation, blue eyeshadows, light pink and peach blush, pink lipstick, and purple lip liner.

Ariana Grande from ‘We Can’t Be Friends’ Music Video

Ariana recently came out with a brand-new song and music video called “We Can’t Be Friends”, and fans have been raving about all the references in it, including her costumes. Part of the video references the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Throughout the video she is erasing her memories of a previous relationship from her mind. One of the coats she wears, a denim long jacket with fur lining, is the same one worn in the original film by Kate Winslet who plays Clementine.

To dress like Ariana in this video, wear a denim jacket with fur lining, denim pleated skirt, and gray shirt with a cut-out neckline. This can be created by wearing a v-neck gray top, or taking a scoop neck gray shirt and cutting a triangle right under the neckline. For the V-Neck shirt, you also could cut a strip from the bottom of the shirt and sew/ attach it back at the neckline. She also has a pink streak in her hair and white eye makeup which can be done with a white eye-pencil or liner.

Chappell Roan from ‘Pink Pony Club’ Music Video

Chappell Roan is a rising singer-songwriter that has a unique style when it comes to her stage costumes. She is inspired by drag and isn’t afraid to go all out glam in her performances. Her fans have taken a love to her style and share their concert-going costumes and outfits online where they show off their creativity by recreating her looks and making their own.

One look that would be great to recreate is from her music video for one of her breakout songs Pink Pony Club. To create this look, wear an embellished denim jacket and either glue or sew on more metallic fringe and trims. Under that wear a white bodysuit or leotard like the one here with fringe, and add more trim to the piece and the hem at the legs. Pair this with silver fringe cowboy boots and a white cowboy hat.

Tsuyu Asui from My Hero Academia (School Uniform)

Tsuyu (voiced in Japanese by Aoi Yūki and in English by Monica Rial) is one of the partial main characters in the anime/manga series My Hero Academia.

She is a student in class 1-A at UA High School, along with Izuku and the others, and is in training to become a pro-hero named Froppy. Her Quirk, Frog, lets her recreate frog-like behaviors, including sticky climbing, extending her tongue to extreme lengths, and camouflage, among many others. During the internships part of the series, she trained under Selkie, with the Oki Mariner Crew, who she also ended up teaming up with again while doing a work study under Ryukyu.

Tsuyu has very long dark green hair, that she generally ends up wearing tied in some sort of bow-type style, and huge eyes with black centers. Her outfit is the standard UA uniform, with the white button up shirt tied with a red tie, worn with a grey blazer with green and gold detailing, and the same tealy-green for the skirt. The rest of it is finished off with black, knee-high socks, and brown loafers. If you would like to see how to make her pro-hero outfit, please see this article here!
