Alexandra from Totally Spies!

Alexandra (voiced by Katie Griffin in English and Céline Mauge in French) is a member of WOOHP in the animated French series Totally Spies!  Alongside fellow spies Samantha and Clover, Alexandra works under Jerry Lewis taking dangerous missions.  Alexandra’s spy costume is yellow, consisting of a catsuit, gloves, and boots.  She wears her hair in a chic black bob.  To recreate her spy suit, you can add details to the yellow bodysuit with some foam padding to emulate the high-tech look of the original costume without having to call in a favor to your local spy agency.

Agent 355 from Y: The Last Man

In the FX on Hulu show Y:  The Last Man, based on the comics of the same name, Agent 355 (played by Ashley Romans) is a mysterious agent of the Culper Ring tasked with protecting Yorick Brown, the only known human survivor of a global event that wiped out every biologically male being on the planet.  We first meet Agent 355 as she foils a plot by extremists in the Midwest of the Untied States.  Shortly thereafter, she is reassigned to pose as a Secret Service Agent, only for the world to turn upside down her first day on the job.  Agent 355 wears different types of clothing depending on her needs, though her outfits are always practical and easy to move in and often include gloves so she doesn’t leave any incriminating fingerprints behind.

Yelena Belova from Black Widow

Yelena Belova from Black Widow

Florence Pugh is new to the MCU but she hit with a bang as Yelena Belova. Equal parts sassy spy and the younger sister left adrift after her family dissolved, Yelena is another heartbreaking reminder of the effects the Red Room can have.

She wears several looks throughout “Black Widow” but the most iconic – and meaningful – is the white suit and green vest she wears during the film’s climax. Black fingerless gloves, black boots, and a costume pistol round out the look while a blonde wig can be styled into her rounded braid using YouTube tutorials. Of all the pieces to this costume, however, the vest is the most meaningful. It appears again later in the MCU, as a final link to the sister she lost.

Natasha Romanov from Black Widow

Natasha Romanov from Black Widow

Natasha Romanov (Scarlett Johansson) has been the heart of the Avengers for more than ten years. She did her best to bring the team together and make the choices that would do the least damage, even in impossible situations. And in “Black Widow” we see that those traits have been part of her personality. Even as a child she tried to protect Yelena, her only real family.

Natasha has several looks throughout the movie. But her most iconic is the white suit. With her hair in braids, white gloves, and black boots, she is ready to take down the Red Room. A rifle and a pistol don’t hurt either. Neither does the arrow necklace reminding her of Clint.

As secret agent trainee Gary “Eggsy” Unwin (Taron Egerton) learns what it takes to be a Kingsman, he also learns to transform his style from an urban street look to a more refined English gentleman look.

Natasha Fatale
