Lady Noir from Miraculous Ladybug
Lady Noir is a character from the French cartoon, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Her real identity is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a novice fashion designer who takes on the superhero persona of Miraculous Ladybug. She has a huge crush on famous fashion model Adrien Agreste, who takes on the superhero persona of Cat Noir. When Marinette uses Adrien’s powers, she transforms into “Lady Noir,” her own iteration of Cat Noir. For the hair, it’s best to get a base wig (as featured in this guide) and style it yourself. Use an elastic to secure it into a long, single braid. For added detail, use light green paint for the accents.

Yuki Cross from Vampire Knight
Yuki Cross is the main protagonist of the anime series Vampire Knight. She attends Cross Academy. Alongside her friend Zero, she serves as Guardian of the Day Class. This is because the Night Class are actually vampires! She is cheerful and caring with a warm smile. This is her outfit when she is part of the Day Class. If you prefer a more accurate Artemis (her scythe), you can make one from foam and a long dowel. Other options for weapons include fake guns or nunchucks.
Nico Di Angelo from Percy Jackson
Nico Di Angelo is a character in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books written by Rick Riordan. He is a half-blood, specifically the son of Hades. Upon first appearing in The Titan’s Curse, Nico is a curious and nerdy kid who enjoys collecting Mythomagic figures. Once he regains his memories and discovers his parentage, he casts aside his childhood interests and becomes more reserved. His powers are the most fearsome of any demigod. At the end of the series, he comes out and starts dating Will Solace. Nico doesn’t appear in the movie or musical adaptation, so this costume guide is based on the book’s descriptions. Use light makeup to make yourself paler and black eyeshadow to sink in your cheeks.
Beelzebub from Good Omens
Beelzebub (Anna Maxwell Martin) is a supporting character in “Good Omens,” the show based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name. Beelzebub is a demon who parallels Gabriel as the representative of hell. Like Gabriel, they get upset when Adam won’t start the war to end the world. They’re always seen frowning with flies buzzing around them (hence the nickname “Lord of the Flies”). While the character is played by a woman, and this costume guide is designed for women, Beelzebub does not use pronouns in the series.
Mary Sanderson from Hocus Pocus
She smells children! Mary Sanderson (Kathy Najimy) is one of the antagonists in Hocus Pocus. Along with Winifred and Sarah, she is a witch who plans to use the life force of children to achieve eternal beauty. While she is more clever than Sarah, she is less cunning than Winifred. If you’re not a fan of wigs, you can style your hair upwards using gel and hairspray. It helps to have something to wrap your hair around, like a cup or soda can, so it maintains the shape. Use temporary purple color spray on top and on the bangs.
Snow White
Snow White is the first Disney princess, who meets the seven dwarves in the woods. After the Evil Queen poisons her, she falls into a deep sleep. A kiss from a prince breaks the spell and they live happily ever after. You can participate in her magical story with this costume. The petticoat helps the skirt achieve that classic princess shape. A red apple makes a cute accessory, but don’t bite into it! Pair with this Snow White makeup tutorial for the perfect princess look.
Chidi Anagonye from The Good Place
Chidi Anagonye (William Jackson Harper) is another protagonist of The Good Place. While alive, he studied and taught philosophy at universities. In spite of his academic pursuits, he struggled with making decisions, which led to his untimely death. In the Good Place, he gets paired with Eleanor as his “soulmate.” When she tells the truth about how she doesn’t belong there, he decides to teach her ethics. Be sure to carry a book by Aristotle or Kant under your arm, but don’t get too into character, or else you might get a stomach ache.
Eleanor Shellstrop from The Good Place
Eleanor Shellstrop is the protagonist of The Good Place. In the afterlife, she goes to paradise, or “The Good Place.” Problem is, she had been a horrible person on Earth, and they have her confused with someone else. She is played by Kristen Bell. Grab a shrimp serving dish for your cocktail shrimp (bonus points if there’s a self serve machine, like in Eleanor’s dreams). This costume will have everyone saying “Holy motherforking shirtballs!”
Kevin Malone from the Office
“It’s not Ashton Kutcher! It’s Kevin Malone.” Here is an easy to follow costume guide for Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) from The Office. In true Kevin spirit, we won’t say lot word when few word do trick. His outfits are usually gray or brown suits, always with a brown patterned tie. Trim the front bangs off this monk wig to achieve Kevin’s hairstyle. Be sure not to drop the pot — no one likes a chili stained carpet.
