Billy Butcher from The Boys
In the Amazon original series The Boys, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is a former CIA operative turned cunning vigilante whose mission in life is to destroy all Supes, or superheroes. This is driven by his hatred for Homelander, who he blames for the death of his wife. Billy leads The Boys, a vigilante group that includes Mother’s Milk, Frenchie, and newest member Hughie Campbell. Billy’s key features include his near black beard and his fondness for dark-hued tropical shirts.
Gabe from Silicon Valley
In Silicon Valley, Gabe (Aristotle Athiras) is a later employee of Pied Piper on Dinesh’s team. He’s weird and needy, working barefoot and cleaning his toenails, pestering Dinesh for the same info repeatedly, and setting up in his wearable chair right in front of him until he gets what he needs.
Landlady from Kung Fu Hustle
In Kung Fu Hustle, in a town full of crooks and thugs, the toughest person on the block is the middle-aged, chain-smoking Landlady (Yuen Qiu) of Pig Sty Alley. The landlady rules the slum with an iron fist, and all feel her wrath from her husband to the residents to encroaching members of the Axe Gang. Her powerful weapons include her Lion’s Roar technique, ability to run like the Roadrunner, and red slippers.
Little Nicky
In Little Nicky, Nicky (Adam Sandler) is one of Satan’s three sons along with Adrian and Cassius, who bully him. Cassius has even given Nikcy a disfigured jaw and speech impediment when he hit him in the face with a shovel. When his older brothers attempt to take over Earth, Satan sends Nicky, armed with a silver flask that traps whoever drinks from it inside, to stop them and save his father.
Brian from Half Baked
In the stoner comedy Half Baked, Brian (Jim Breuer) is friends with Thurgood Jenkins. He likes to dress head to toe in rainbow tie dye. When Brian gets fired from his job at the record shop, he does the sensible thing by grabbing his briefcase and walking off in into the sunset.
Andy Carmichael
In The Goonies, Andrea “Andy” Carmichael (Kerri Green) is a cheerleader who wears jock Troy Perkins’ letter jacket through most of the movie. However soon Andy finds herself a member of the misfit Goonies and falls for Mikey’s older brother Brand.
Thurgood Jenkins from Half Baked
In the stoner comedy Half Baked, Thurgood Jenkins (Dave Chappelle), aka Sir Smoke-a-Lot, is a janitor at a medical laboratory. He brings home some unusually potent experimental marijuana from his work, the gang get together and smoke it, and hijinks ensue.
Imelda Rivera from Coco
In Pixar’s Coco, Imelda Rivera is the former matriarch of the Rivera family who is now a spirit in the Land of the Dead. She is responsible for the ban on music in her family, which brings her head-to-head with her great-great-grandson Miguel Rivera.
Mouth
In The Goonies, the wise-cracking Clarke Devereaux (Corey Feldman) is nicknamed Mouth. He’s fluent enough in Spanish to be able to crack jokes in two different languages. In true 80s fashion, Mouth sports a Members Only jacket, parachute pants, and big hair he maintains with the brush kept in his back pocket.

In Team Fortress 2, Soldier is a fanatical, jingoistic American war machine hellbent on taking down the bad guys. Armed with a rocket launcher and shotty, what he lacks for in brain cells, Soldier makes up for with star spangled guts.
