Korben Dallas from The Fifth Element
In The Fifth Element, Korben Dallas played by Bruce Willis is a quickly going broke taxi driver and former special forces soldier for The Federated Army. Korben was thrust back into the special forces after Leeloo fell from a building into his taxi cab. He is now on a mission with her to retrieve the other four elements in order to prevent the great evil from destroying the earth. This is a casual costume great for any cosplay or Halloween event.
Coach from The Gentlemen
Coach (played by Colin Farrell) is a supporting character in the movie The Gentlemen. Coach begins working with Raymond Smith in order to settle a debt that his fighters have incurred when they rob one of Mickey Pearson‘s marijuana farms. Coach helps Ray with several important jobs, including helping him to restrain Fletcher when he attempts to secure blackmail money. Coach wears a colorful array of tracksuits, often in loud colors and prints.
Rose Cinderella from Regal Academy
Rose Cinderella was just a normal girl until she fell through a portal into the world of fairy tales. There she learns that she is the granddaughter of Cinderella! Voiced by Rebecca Soler (billed as Jessica Paquet), Rose is a very outgoing but clumsy girl who loves to help other people. Whether she is working with her friends or her boyfriend Hawk SnowWhite – grandson of Snow White – she is always ready to help those in need and find a happy ending!
Rose’s clothes are very colorful. She wears a pink bow in her hair, a plum blazer, a pink plaid skirt, and pink slip-on shoes. Her white button up shirt matches her white leggings except for the plum colored bands around the bottom of the leggings. Finding her exact leggings is tough but you can replicate by gluing ribbon to the bottom of white leggings. After that all you need is a long blonde wig and a black tie with yellow stripes and you’re ready for your own fairy tale adventure!
Troy and Gabriella from High School Musical
Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) are the two main characters in the Disney Channel original movie, High School Musical. Troy is the basketball prodigy at East High, whereas Gabriella is a remarkable science student. They sing a duet together for karaoke at a New Years Eve party. The pair reunites when Gabriella transfers to East High. After Gabriella gains the confidence to audition for the school musical, Troy volunteers to sing with her. When they make the callbacks, both Troy and Gabriella face a dilemma: to go forward with the musical, or stick with the status quo. This would make a great couples costume or just for pure nostalgia.
Marty from Papa Louie
Marty is the laid-back guitartist for Scarlett and the Shakers. When he’s not rocking with his band he’s manning the grill at Papa’s Burgeria or enjoying some Atomic Sauce on his favorite Papa Louie creations!
Atomic sauce – or Marty’s signature burger guitar – is a little hard to find. But the rest of his costume is not. A spiky blonde wig and blonde soul patch get you started. From there you need a denim vest and a pair of jeans in the same light denim color. Add in a red and white striped shirt, a grey belt, and black converse and you’re all set!
Laurie Strode from Dead by Daylight and Halloween
Laurie Strode is the final girl of Halloween (1978) and is arguably the most quintessential form of the archetype. Played by scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis, she has been hunted by Michael Myers for over forty years, across more than half a dozen films. She debuted in Dead by Daylight in Chapter II.
Jane Kano from Charlie’s Angels (2019)
Jane Kano (played by Ella Balinska) was the youngest recruit to ever join MI-6. Jane now serves as a member of Charlie’s Angels in the 2019 reboot and continuation of the franchise. Jane works closely with fellow Angels Sabina and newly-recruited Elena to stop the implementation of Elena’s program Calisto. Jane’s clothing is often utilitarian and even militaristic. However, as is the case for every Angel, she often dons disguises and costumes in order to complete her mission, offering a lot of different options when emulating the character’s style.
The Pig from Dead by Daylight
The Pig is the moniker used by apprentices/successors of Jigsaw. There have been many over the years, though they do not vary much in appearance. The male ones typically don Jigsaw’s red and black robe, while the female ones wear long red leather coats, both of which help deal with the bloody affair that is kidnapping victims and setting up Jigsaw’s games. In the game Dead by Daylight, Amanda Young is a devoted pupil of Jigsaw who assumes the identity of the Pig following her own death. To recreate the Pig’s costume, you’ll need a pig mask with wig and a red leather coat layered over a pair of jeans. You can use a simple red trench coat, or if you want the full length of the costume in the game, you could layer a red moto jacket with a hood over a faux leather skirt that you cut in the middle.
Erin Quinn from Derry Girls
Erin Quinn (played by Saoirse-Monica Jackson) is the main protagonist of the Netflix show Derry Girls. Erin lives in Derry with her rather large family during the 1990s. She attends Our Lady Immaculate College with her friends Orla (who is also her cousin), James, Michelle, and Clare. Erin’s most recognizable costume is her green school uniform, though she also dons plenty of fun 90s-inspired outfits throughout the series.
