Lamont Cranston (Alec Baldwin) is an American who sets up as an opium kingpin in Tibet after the Great War when a holy man abducts him and offers him the chance to become a force for good. He accepts, returning to New York living alternately as a millionaire playboy and The Shadow, an anonymous vigilante who terrorizes criminals. As you might guess, The Shadow was the main inspiration for Batman.

Pikachu

Pikachu is by far the most popular of all Pokemon, and the most loyal, never leaving Ash Ketchum’s side. This pika-like creatures has a thunderbolt tail and can emit sparks of electricity from its cute red cheeks.

Zatanna

In the DC Comics, Zatanna is a superhero who uses magic as her superpower, at times working for the Justice League of America. Daughter of the legendary Zatara, she summons spells by speaking words and sentences backwards.

Sandwich Sam

In Aunty Donna’s web series 1999, Sandwich Sammy McGee is a happy-go-lucky sandwich vendor who services office workers. Everything is nommy-nom-nom until an order goes wrong, at which point the schizophrenia kicks in and the voices urge Sandwich Sam to kill them all.

Leslie Vernon

Leslie Vernon is the focus and antagonist of the cult classic mockumentary comedy-horror Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. He is a wannabe serial killer inspired by the likes of Jason, Michael, and Freddy (who in this world really exist). What he lacks in physical power he makes up for in his cunning planning and setting up of traps for his would-be victims. Don’t forget to wear and tear his clothes.
