Aeryn Sun
A Sebacean by race and Peacekeeper by profession, Officer Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) is a dedicated, skilled, highly dangerous soldier in the TV series Farscape. When human astronaut John Crichton hurtles through a wormhole into the middle of a Peacekeeper battle, she is excommunicated from the Peacekeepers and joins up with Crichton and a colorful host of other aliens on the living spacecraft Moya. As befitting her role of soldier and warrior, she dresses in all black.
Scary Godmother
Scary Godmother is the comic book and animated character of the same name, written and illustrated by Jill Thompson. The children’s books were first published in 1997 then eventually spawned into an animated TV film in 2003.
Bobobo from Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is the cool and incomprehensible hero, swarthy and musclebound, sporting sunglasses and a large golden afro. His hair is 24-karat gold but is usually said to be yellow or blonde; some viewers even argue about its true color. He is called “Bo-bobo” for short, as he refuses to let people call him “Bo”.
Professor Juniper in Pokémon
Professor Juniper is the first female professor in the Pokémon series. Her specialisation is Pokémon origin and she is an old friend of Professor Oak, because who isn’t, right? Her clothes are pretty plain, especially when compared to the other Pokémon Profs.
Mr. Green
In Clue, Mr. Green (Michael McKean) is a State Department employee and guest of Mr. Boddy. He is blackmailed for being gay, a secret which would cost him his job. In one of the endings, he is suspected of killing the singing telegram girl in the hall with the revolver. He ultimately reveals himself as an undercover FBI agent, who actually killed Mr. Boddy in the hall with the revolver.
Alessa Gillespie
Alessa Gillespie (Jodelle Ferland), although not present on screen most of the time, is the heart and soul of each Silent Hill video game and movie installment. Chosen to birth God, an evil demonic entity, Alessa’s soul splits during the ceremony into a “dark” and “light” Alessa. Dark Alessa creates the Silent Hill world, filling it with terrifying and brutal creatures born out of her pain and suffering during the ritual. Professor Plum
In Clue, Professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd) is a former psychiatry professor with the World Health Organization who had his license revoked after having an affair with a female patient. He is a guest of Mr. Boddy’s and is being blackmailed for his indiscretions. In one of the endings, he killed Mr. Boddy in the hall with the candlestick.
Vaun
On The Strain, New York City has fallen to an ancient strain of vampires, the strigoi. Vaun (Stephen McHattie) is the leader of a band of undead hunters who were summoned by the Ancient Ones to stop the spread of the strigoi plague. Vaun resembles the other strigoi, though his distinctive feature is his Glasgow smile. With the proper prosthetics, makeup colors, and blackout contact lenses, Vaun’s look can be easily achieved.
118 118 Runners
The 118 118 runners are an iconic duo featured an a popular advertisement for a directory enquiries provider, known for their catchphrase “Got Yer Number!” They bare a striking resemblance to 70s real-life runner David Bedford, who threatened to sue. For this costume, the bigger the hair and mustache, and the smaller the shorts, the better.
Debbie Thornberry
Deborah “Debbie” Thornberry is the older sister of Eliza Thornberry, and daughter to Nigel and Marianne. Unlike her family, she has little excitement for the natural and wild world. Instead, Debbie wishes to live a normal suburban life, but is forced to travel the wilderness with her parents as they film nature documentaries.
