In Empire Records, Corey Mason (Liv Tyler) and the other record store employees are trying to stop the store from being bought out by a competitor. First they have to figure out how to replace the $9000 one of the managers lost gambling. Sound like a party might be the perfect solution.
Orbit Gum Girl
The Orbit Girl (played by Vanessa Branch and Farris Patton) is a British woman who finds herself in dirty situations, like off-road safaris, but always wearing pristine white clothes, a scarf, and a smile. Perhaps the Orbit Gum that has something to do with that.
Splatoon Inklings
In the Nintendo Wii U game Splatoon, Inklings are players who can transform between humanoid and squid forms. Their goal is to shoot ink in their team color and splat more of the environment than their opponents. You could go all the way by filling your water gun with bright paint, but I wouldn’t advise it.
1984 Apple Macintosh Runner
In the Apple Macintosh commercial, directed by Ridley Scott and aired during the 1984 Super Bowl, rows of people mindlessly march in step to Big Brother giving a speech on the telescreen. This monotony is broken up when a nameless runner (Anya Major) dressed in colorful gym clothes hurls a hammer through the screen, awakening the brainwashed masses from their routine.

In Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren) is a socialite who’s attacked one day by a seagull. Not long after, she notices a huge number of crows amassing at a nearby playground. The birds are acting strange, but you’d never guess what they do next.

In Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter, Kumiko (Rinko Kikuchi) lives a lonely and depressing life until she discovers an old VHS of Fargo. Believing the movie to be real, she’s convinced that it depicts buried treasure. She embarks on journey that takes her from Tokyo to the middle of no where Minnesota. Good thing she prepared for the cold conditions with her homemade blanket poncho.
Wolf Carol
As The Walking Dead group settles into suburban life in picturesque Alexandria, Carol (Melissa McBride) pretends she’s Suzy Homemaker to trick the others into letting their guards down around her. When the Wolves attack Alexandria however, Carol’s survival instincts kick in as she activates ninja mode, ruthlessly killing the Wolves after disguising herself as one.

In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, T-X (Kristanna Loken) is sent back in time to kill key members of the Resistance, including John Connor. As the first female Terminator, she’s appropriately nicknamed the Terminatrix.
