Giovanni from Pokémon

As the head of Team Rocket and the former gym leader for the Viridian City gym in the Kanto Region, Giovanni chooses Persian as his Pokémon. He normally has a very calm demeanour, trusting Jessie and James despite their nearly uncountable number of failures, but he is really a ruthless and evil leader. Let’s just say his fashion style is… unique.

Professor Oak in Pokémon

Are you a boy? Or are you a girl? Professor Oak is the very first Pokémon Professor you meet in the wonderful world of Pokémon. He’s forgetful, unable to remember the name of his nephew in games and he’s always around to remind you that you can’t use a bike in the ocean. However, he is an indispensable companion to Ash (and, really, all trainers).

Malcolm Tucker from In The Loop

Malcolm Tucker (Peter Capaldi) is the foul-mouthed and hilarious protagonist of the British series The Thick of It and the 2009 film In the Loop. His clothing style is the basic business look: suit and tie, button up dress shirt, black shoes, black belt. The rest of the character is about getting overly creative with your insults.

Arnold Shortman in Hey Arnold!

Arnold is calm and upbeat with an overall optimistic personality. He often goes out of his way to help others and has a gift for advising others. Throughout the series he has a number of one-sided crushes that would give Taylor Swift a run for her money. While it may be a bit of stretch to reshape your head into a football, you can certainly reshape the wig into the right hairstyle.

Gene in Wreck-It Ralph

In Wreck-It Ralph, Gene (voiced by Raymond S. Persi) is the rotund mayor of Niceland in Fix-It Felix, Jr. Despite being a pompous, tiny man, he and the town begin treat Ralph with respect after learning how important his role is in their game. He eventually allows Ralph to live in the penthouse after he returns with the gold “HERO” medal. His general outfit is an embroidered purple cardigan, a white button-up shirt, a matching blue tie, with black dress pants and black dress shoes; he changes into a white outfit for the 30th anniversary party.

Heffer Wolfe in Rocko’s Modern Life

Heffer Wolfe is Rocko’s best friend in Rocko’s Modern Life. Although he has many different jobs, he is more likely to be found munching down a bag of potato chips than working. Despite his size, Heffer is very nimble on roller skates and is well-known at the skating rink. You could opt for a yellow chub suit instead of the bodysuit if you want to be a little larger.

Squall Leonhart in Final Fantasy VIII

Squall is main protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII. He embodies the characteristics of strength and courage, represented by the lion. He is often viewed as cold and distant. Squall has a strong sense of responsibility that draws others to him, making him the reluctant leader. While not part of this costume, you may want to consider adding this Triple Triad deck.

The Kitchen Brothers in Fargo

In season two of Fargo, the identical twin brothers Wayne and Gale Kitchen (Todd & Brad Mann respectively) are enforcers for the Kansas City Mafia. They work directly under Mike Milligan, always beside him for intimidation. The brothers never speak and promptly give Officer Larsson the finger when questioned.

Jeff Boomhauer in King of the Hill

His full name is Jeffrey Dexter Boomhauer III (voiced by Mike Judge), but is almost exclusively called Boomhauer. Among the group, he’s considered the voice of reason despite being his speech being nearly incomprehensible. If you want to practice your impression, check out this link.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket

“I am Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, your senior drill instructor.” Played by former, actual drill instructor R. Lee Ermey, he is the verbally abrasive, physically abusive, authoritarian marine corps drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket. Seemingly fueled by hatred, he’s armed to the teeth with an unlimited arsenal of nicknames and insults, ready to preemptively annihilate any cadet in his path. He wears the standard drill instructor uniform.
