Lind L. Taylor is a character from the anime Death Note. He is a convicted criminal on death row, but he is an ally of L. To determine Kira's location, L uses Lind as bait via a worldwide broadcast. Lind introduces himself as L and declares Kira will be caught, and his evil crimes will be exposed. Enraged, Light (Kira) writes Tailor's name in the Death Note. Still on the air, Lind suddenly dies of a heart attack. Because L used the broadcast for a decoy, as it was not worldwide but specifically televised in the Kanto region of Japan, he figures out Kira's location.
