Steve from Blue’s Clues
Steve Burns was the host of the hit children’s show Blue’s Clues. He’d help audiences solve puzzles using clues left behind by Blue – though he sure had a hard time finding the clues. In each episode he wore the same outfit, making his green striped rugby shirt just as memorable as his blue spotted companion.
Will Graham
In Hannibal, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is an FBI profiler who makes use of his pure empathy and overactive imagination to bring down serial killers. In an unfortunate arrangement, he seeks therapy from world renown psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter.
22 Jump Street
Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum) are back as a blundering cop team in 22 Jump Street. They are assigned to go undercover and this time they go back to college to track down a drug supplier. Not only does this mean they get to go back to fraternity parties and college girls but best of all, they get to back to spring break.
Hotline Miami Jacket
In the retro 2D video game Hotline Miami, the unnamed protagonist (nicknamed Jacket) receives cryptic instructions to kill foes in an ultraviolent manner. He wears a variety of animal masks when completing these tasks, each of which gives him special abilities. To finish the costume, apply fake blood liberally.
Karl Pilkington
Karl Pilkington is the Idiot Abroad. When Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant send him on a tour around the world, he moans and whinges every step of the way. He’s also the inventor of the Pilko Pump Pants, which you can make by sewing a travel pillow to your bum.
Groot and Rocket Raccoon
In Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) is a tree-like humanoid who teams up with Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), a genetically engineered mercenary raccoon. The best part about playing Groot is that you only need to know one line: I am Groot.
Ford Prefect
In the 1981 BBC adaptation of Douglas Adams’s the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Ford Prefect (David Dixon) is an alien journalist who’s doing undercover research on Earth. He chooses his name with the idea that it will be inconspicuous, when in fact it’s the name of a popular car model.
Mutt Williams
In Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Henry “Mutt Williams” Jones III (Shia LaBeouf) is the son of Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood. As Indy’s new sidekick, he has big shoes to fill. His style is a nod to Marlon Brando’s iconic biker outfit in “The Wild One”.
Tommy Wiseau
Oh hi there. In the legendary movie The Room, Tommy Wiseau plays Johnny, a red-blooded, football-loving gentleman. He discovers an affair between his fianceé Lisa and Mark, which is tearing him apart.
Rust Cohle
In the HBO series True Detective, Detective Rustin Spencer “Rusty” Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) is brought in as partner of Detective Martin Hart (Woody Harrelson) to solve a ritualistic murder in rural Louisiana. Dress up as either the buttoned-up 1995 Cohle or the broken-down 2012 version who’s now a suspect.
