Quicksilver in Avengers

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is Pietro Maximoff, the fleet-footed twin brother of Scarlet Witch who can move at superhuman speeds. He’s not to be confused with the Evan Peters Quicksilver, who’s, like, totally different.

Iron Man

Tony Stark is Iron Man, a billionaire playboy and ingenious engineer who, after being kidnapped, builds a powered suit of armor to escape captivity. As a free man, he continues to build new models of the suit, wearing them while playing the hero.

Black Cat

Felicia Hardy is the Black Cat, the daughter of a renowned cat burglar who has trained in a variety of fighting styles and acrobatics. She first dons the Black Cat costume in order to break her father out of prison.

Elektra

Elektra was once the privileged daughter of a Greek ambassador who becomes a ruthless assassin after her father is killed during a kidnapping rescue. She’s a skilled fighter who’s even more lethal when she wields her twin sais.

Rogue

Rogue is a member of the X-Men. She possess one of the strongest powers, the ability to absorb the powers of other mutants. But she considers it a curse, forced to wear gloves and avoid physical contact with others like her lover Gambit.

Nick Fury

In the Avengers, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. He’s the one responsible for recruiting Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and The Hulk to join forces to take on Loki. No biggie.

Hawkeye

In the Avengers, Clint Barton is Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), a master archer and an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Unlike teammates Captain America and The Hulk, he has absolutely no superpowers. But on the bright side, he’s been in a relationship with Black Widow.

Groot and Rocket Raccoon

In Guardians of the Galaxy, Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) is a tree-like humanoid who teams up with Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), a genetically engineered mercenary raccoon. The best part about playing Groot is that you only need to know one line: I am Groot.

Thor

In the Marvel comics, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is the Norse god of thunder and a founding member of the Avengers. As if being a god wasn’t enough, he has an enchanted hammer called Mjolnir that allows him to fly and control the weather.

Captain America

A frail Steve Rogers takes an experimental serum and becomes Captain America, a World War II hero and leader of the Avengers. As the name suggests, he’s pretty patriotic, garbing himself head to toe in the stars and stripes. Most recently, Cap has been played by actor Chris Evans.
