X-Men 97

Calling all mutants! X-Men 97 offered a great dose of nostalgia this year, officially entering the Marvel universe. This costume idea is great for large groups. Couples can go as Scott and Jean or Gambit and Rogue.

Baldur’s Gate 3

A repeat favorite – Baldur’s Gate 3 has achieved “critical success” in cosplay. Even Larian Studios paid homage to the costumed fans. This is a fantastic family costume, and now with its expansive cast of evil-doers, more of your family and friends can join in on the fun. And who could forget the Minions -seriously, can we finally forget about them?

Fallout

Time to explore some vaults! The well-known video game was adapted into a live-action television series, bringing the tactical post-apocalyptic setting to life. Slip into the signature blue jumpsuit as protagonist Lucy, or don a cowboy getup as Ghoul. Or you can keep it old school and cosplay Vault Boy, the mascot of game.

Bluey

Both children and adults love Bluey! This animated children’s show follows the adventures of the titular Blue Heeler puppy. There’s Bandit (her father), Chilli (her mother), and Bingo (little sister) – making this the ideal family costume. f you have over four people in your group or family, there’s plenty of other family members, neighbors, and classmates to choose from.

Mean Girls

Get in loser, we’re going Halloween shopping! The 2024 Mean Girls re-imagined the 2004 cult classic as a modernized musical adaptation. The Bear

On the subject of cooking, The Bear is another relevant group Halloween costume, having just wrapped up its third season in June. The plot follows Carmen, a young chef from the fine dining world who returns to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after a tragic death. Carmy fights to turn the shop around, working alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately becomes his chosen family.

Olympic Champions

We can’t finish this round-up without mentioning the 2024 Olympics. Our top suggestion is either the boys or girls USA gymnastics teams, but you can dress as any group. Or you can dress as meme-worthy figures, such as the Turkish shooter or “Raygun.” You can easily pick up reasonably priced athletic wear and sports equipment at places like Target or Wal-Mart. Don’t forget those gold medals!
